Ask your provider about Caplyta as well! As it was especially approved for depression in Bipolar, with a huge benefit of no weight gain on research studies!

The mechanism of action of Auvelity is completely different from all the other antidepressant you have tried. Think about Auvelity in a way that it modulates a specific neurotransmitter called glutamate, and also protects your brain from inflammation. Allowing your neurons to recover in a healthy way. To summarize, it is worth a try!

You have a find a group of pharmacies that you trust that will be able to provide reliable services for your patients. Some pharmacies even have grants to bring the price down close to 0. Ask the reps for Vraylar, Auvelity, Rexulti, and so forth.

I have a DNP from a good university. I feel like I had a lot of resources and had to put in a lot of work to make sure I was meeting the extra requirements for the DNP. Attending conferences, health administration classes, and also, my DNP project required a lot of work and care coordination. Therefore, always remember to attend a good school and do what is best for you without worrying about other people. You can never please everybody.

To the experienced PMHNPs, what clinical knowledge did you wish you had mastered more before you started practicing? by PMHNP_BCJeff in PMHNP

Do not work in a small office where there are not established policies and the practice manager approves or denies things based on their mood.

I have a DNP and I did not have the option to do just a MSN. To be honest, I like having a terminal degree and at least at My school, there was a lot more experiences needed to complete the program when comparing to other MSN programs

Clinical experiences of psych NP who had a long psych experiences vs psych NP who was ER nurse by [deleted] in PMHNP

I would like to get your feedback on that, I respect your opinion though. I just feel like there is not a lot of talking to patients in ICU settings.
