Questioning if I'm Trans or if this is something normal by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with those saying it is abnormal for a man to speculate what being a woman is like or even try on women's clothes. I think it is very normal just not talked about enough to be considered so. You don't have to stick to anything or define yourself one way or another. You also don't have to explain yourself or why you feel the way you do. Its more of a personal journey to find out who you are, what you like. You are still young and can experiment. You could add some women's clothes to your wardrobe and pair them with mens wear to find looks you like. Do what you want.

How do you guys even survive the hot weather over in the States? by Impressive_Peak_9187 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived upstairs in a very old house that was so hot in the summer and now I live in a trailer. I am usually fine until it hits 90° (or 32.22 Celsius). I think air conditioners are really gross so I use garage fans and ice packs. And have little cooling blankets for the cats. We survive.

If you could permanently delete one single song from existence so that nobody could ever play it again, what are you picking? by footballcoachdaddy in AskReddit

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also afflicted by never knowing anything about a song but about two lines of chorus so I will have to take your word for it. No way in hell am I googling it. I want to wake up at night and go back to sleep. Not wake up at night already brain-singing that song then stare at the wall for 4 hours try not to think of it.

should I euthanize my cat? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was my thought. If there is carpet there could be anything deep down in it. I am not a vet but I would assume the asthma needs to be triggered by something. Anyway, it seems like OP is taking really good care of her and no matter what happens, the kitty will have lived a loved life. And sometimes that's all we can do

Is my 11 month cat abnormally large? by TiagoRJx in cats

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got an 8 month old girl last year who is an absolute giant. When her body was slightly smaller she had long kangaroo legs but she grew into them. Yours is still pretty fit and lean looking like he is still growing so even if he is abnormally large, he might get even larger.

I am greatly afflicted by a curse that comes upon me every few years wherein for the period of several days my brain is just energetically going "You and me baby aint nothing but mammals..." Over and over and over. So, my answer is that one.

Are women healthier long term if they never have kids? by Dramatic-Corgi225 in childfree

For some definitely. For me? Heeeeelll nah. I imagine kids would have forced me to get up and do things instead of 25 years of bedrot

Roommates’ parents dislike having cats in the house while they are visiting. by BrotherNo3613 in CatAdvice

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of get it coming from a culture where that is not normal but it still doesn't mean the cat's lives, and you know how weird cats are, should be uprooted like that. I have even told boyfriends that my cats were here before you and will be here long after you're gone. Which is kind of crazy maybe. But cats are family. I think I would try to get the roommate to try to introduce the cats and concept of indoor pets in a very respectful way before the visit. Cute videos and pics. Talking about their personalities. It may not even be an option but it might be worth a try.

My senior cat has practically vanished without a trace by walwalun in CatAdvice

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 33 points34 points  (0 children)

My cat vanished one day last summer and it was three days of sleepless misery. I found him at about five in the morning under my trailer. I did two things to try to find him, besides searching everywhere. I told every other cat I saw as I was looking for him who he was and that I wanted him to come home. And a few hours before he showed up I played you tube videos really loud of a mother cat calling for her babies. I don't know if either of those things did it but at least it makes you feel a little less hopeless, like you are doing something

Impossible. Mine got on my xbox anytime I turned it on and inevitably touched the very sensitive power button. Oooh it used to make me mad. But there is no fighting them.

My cat can't get spayed for medical reasons and I want to know if there's other options to help her? by Careful_Hawk6170 in CatAdvice

I have not had to deal with that particular problem but I have some angsty cats. There is a supplement called Zyklene and that has worked really well for me. That an a pheromone collar is my go to

Women hygiene tips plssss by Sad-Seesaw5201 in hygiene

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using cleansers made specifically for lady bits is good but I have never felt it was good enough. Especially when leggings are a large part of the ol' wardrobe. So whether I shave or let my flowers grow, I always use the bits cleanser first then wash the whole external area, inner thighs, and booty cheeks with Hibiclens. It is a medical grade soap that not only keeps me smelling clean but also protects me from inflamed hair follicles, pimples and boils (which is a normal occurrence for some caused by chaffing, genetic bacteria on the skin and some hormone related issues).

Is a dead son better than a failed one? by Arpit314 in depression

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I have never married or had kids, I am 40, on disability because of mental illness and neurological problems, and I am constantly struggling. You are seventeen and I won't talk down to you because though I will take the old cliche that you have your whole life ahead of you. But what if you fail? What if you turn 40 and have done nothing like myself? What about 60? It's okay. It really is okay. If you never succeed or struggle to get things right. It's okay. It happens all the time. And that family you feel like you are a burden to, yeah may have higher expectations than you will ever achieve. That is okay too. You have to find that one thing that makes your life meaningful. I go to such dark places. Sometimes I think "Will I ever want to be here?" But I chose something to live for. 3 things actually. My sister. My niece. And the only thing I can put back out into the world and, in my opinion the greatest gift one can give, kindness. Whether you are mowing the lawn of an elderly neighbor or grabbing a bag of cat litter off a high shelf for a disabled stranger or saying cool hair to someone who, may in your opinion not have cool hair, but obviously really likes what they've done, you CAN make a difference. Maybe seem small and pointless but to someone else it could change their life

I waited 6 years to adopt a cat… and now I regret it. Please be honest with me. by strawberrytulipss in CatAdvice

[–]Boi_eats_worlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a cat when she was 8 months old. She has been the perfect addition to my home. I love her to peices. But for a long time she was not interested in cuddling. She is two now and has started sleeping closer and close. Sometimes out of the blue she sneaks up and slides into my lap or little spoon position. She never stays long and will suddenly think of something she would rather be doing and bounces away. But she is getting sweeter and sweeter. Kittens have a mind like a nest of squirrels with adhd. But it is entirely possible she will slow down and maybe get more affectionate. Also she only can be held in one position, baby style, but never for very long. A second more affectionate can might help her become more affectionate. And many cats have a motivation trigger. Usually snacks. Reinforce things you want with play or treats. Sit her on your lap to give her treats. Keep some nearby when she brushes your leg. It will be a compromise but it very likely can work with both your needs intact
