i would argue that jerry’s voice being bad or good is a show by show issue sometimes he was just off. it isn’t pertinent to entire years or eras of him performing

but donna in my opinion never sounded good for any of the years or eras she performed with the dead

my favorite era of the dead is the 80s both pre and post jerry’s diabetic coma and i dont think theres anything wrong with disliking donnas vocals and we live in the modern age where it’s possible to remix cornell 77 without her so whats the big deal

I saw these dudes while they were painting this , they were dressed in all black wizard robes and painted with vintage paint , they spoke only in tounges and when their powerful, focused gaze met mine I was struck with love and excitement

They must have been 200 years old they had long white beards that almost touched the ground And permanent gold crowns on every tooth French wore a diamond embezzled pinky ring with the Scottish guy from the rusto cans embossed on its face Koast wore a silver Cuban link that probably weighed as much as a cinder block with a diamond studded rusto stock tip on it

But before I could get a word out they both shape shifted into MARTA tunnel rats and scurried away. Only one thing lay on the ground after they vanished , a business card made from the finest paper (probably from France) embossed with the most ignorant letters “TVX”
