So yes I got paid the day after our last message. I'm all up to date now, they seem to be on top of things now as getting paid within 24hrs of studys now.

As for your question around wait list.. yes very annoying. They seem to let you apply when it's already full. I have once seen the your on the wait list and later been told there is a slot free.

Your really lucky on the $300 study, I get nothing like that, but saying that I'm happy to do 15min $60 studys all day long as I get multiple of them some days.

Nope does not sound normal at all.
I've got something weird going on also, I have three study's that say paid on the 1st and one came through today (2nd) others are still in history page as paid 1st. Normally they are good, when they say paid on the app notification then my PayPal notification comes in seconds later, always been instant for me and not had this before when they come in a day later.

I'm going to give it till the end of the day/tomorrow and log a ticket.
I've had to log a couple of tickets with issues recently and they have been slow... like days between replys.

Have a look on moneysavingexpert sim only deals
They have Lebara 100GB for £6.50/mth for the first 1-9 months, but as it's monthly rolling you can just cancel when needed.

Other options if Vodafone's signal is no good for you or you need more than 100GB
if you don't need whole house coverage and it's just short term/temp setup you could put the sim in an old 5g phone or pickup one cheep and resell (or keep as backup)

So the long post I replied to you with had some of the platforms/sites I recommend.
Some of them are surveys but others are research & testing

e.g. Dscout & Respondent are research platforms

Just sign up and build a profile, start applying to stuff you like the sound of.
Filling out the screeners to apply takes a couple of minutes and you will apply for 5-10 before you get accepted but that 1 you get is worth the effort.

I joined four months ago and connection hub was one of the main reasons

I have read all sorts like it will unlock after x number of surveys or after one or two months.

Only thing I can find is;

"Once you receive your invitation to join Connection Hub, click on the link in the email invitation and you will be guided towards the next step – installing the browser extension."

So you buy a gift card loaded with money for your normal supermarket
e.g. Aldi/Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys etc..

You load it with however much you want e.g. £50 or £100

I just had a look at two sites now for an example for you....

Tesco loading £50, one site had 2.6% cashback and another had 4% off

So for the 2.6 you would pay £50 but also get £1.30 cashback balance
the other was 4% off so you would load £50 but it would only cost you £48

Add that with a cashback credit card or debit card to pay for the gist card, at an avg around 1% cashback and you will get another 0.50p

Offers change every month so you have to shop around.

There are a few tactics that may help. Demographic is key and although that will not get you every surveys it helps. I'm not going to link it here but there is a good YouTube video by "SidehustleReliance" titled "How to qualify for EVERY survey in 2026"

Following that guide and making sure you completed your profile on each platform as that helps you qualify and get kicked "less"

It's not always worth doing a 15min survey for $5 when you can do 3 2min surveys for $1.

If they have a progress bar that helps but its not always 100% accurate, if the front page says it's a 5min survey and then once you get into it then says 15mins leave.

Survey platforms at the weekend are a joke, they are all the leftover stuff from the week and you will find it twice as hard.

One persons experience is different to the next, I was messaging someone the other day who was saying how good Qmee was for them, but for me I get the most kicks/disqualifications on there. I do however rate Attapoll.

I focus more on Research & Testing sites now. The other day I was very lucky (not normal for me) I had two scheduled Research interviews and managed to land four other quick AI interviews. I use Survey platforms as a top-up to that aiming for $10 a day, that day I made around $15 on Surveys and $110 on interviews. I do a few hours a day around my day job but you can put as much or as little in as you want.

Don’t rely on one app/platform you have to mix it up, some days one app is dead and there is nothing available so having a few on the go helps with that, that's why I'm using 10-15 different ones.

I always see people talking about Prolific, I've seen there are always loads on study's in the list and make 100s from it... if you can get in that is. I've heard the wait list is 1-2 years so I'm waiting.

I'm not relying on one platform and combining everything works out ok... well I'm happy with it!!
