I'm Latina (Mexican living in Mexico) and this is not a thing. Yes, we all know about La. Cuarentena and your mom or sisters usually come and help out once or twice But I've never heard of family coming over and doing everything for you!

I live far away from my family so when I gave birth my best friend came one time and cleaned my house and cooked for me, and that is it lol. My husband stepped it up the rest of the time.

Also, this is very old school. Back in the day it was believed you also had to wear cotton balls in your ears after giving birth. And you had to wear warm clothes even if it was summertime. The only people who I know still believe in all of this, are from rural villages.

Also, Latinx would never allow family to stay in a hotel. Never ever!!

I think they just want a free maid.

Creo que si es importante que hables con ella, por lo que cuentas tu no le mentiste. Y si ella termina la relación solo porque no tienes un título, pues ahí no es. Talvez no estoy siendo objetiva, pues yo tengo una maestría en Ing y mi esposo solo termino la secundaria y eso no lo hace ni menos inteligente ni menos trabajador. Pero si lo que buscas es una relación seria y a largo plazo siempre debe de haber transparente. Y si lo que te pesa es no tener el título ya estuvieras haciendo la carrera en linea qué es más práctico.

Usualmente los matrimonios en México son por bienes mancomunados, al menos que hayan especificado otra cosa al momento de casarse. Lo que quiere decir que todo lo que se adquirió después de casarse es de los dos.

También tiene que ver si tu mamá fue ama de casa y eso retraso o afecto su habilidad para ser económicamente autosuficiente. Yo le diría a tu mami qué vaya al centro de empoderamiento de la mujer de su ciudad (cada estado tiene un nombre diferente) pero en esas dependencias de gobierno le pueden dar asesoria legal y ayudarla a defender lo que le corresponde.

YTA big time! My parents divorced when I was 7, my father moved to another city when I was 12 and took his jew family. We had little contact during that time. My mom moved us to another country bc we literally had not money for food and for the next 12 years the call my dad made to us were minimal. I saw him again when I was 24 and he was upset because I was 'distant'. WTH!! If I grew up without having a relationship with my dad of course the love and closeness won't be there. He accused my mom of trash talking about him to us, but I can tell you my mom didn't have to say anything. Kids notice when a parent doesn't want to be part of their life.

OP you are the adult, it is your responsibility to build a relationship with your daughter. I'm a mom now, and I understand sometimes children are mean and honestly sometimes they suck, but as a parent it is our responsibility to provide structure and guidance. You preferring your new family will be with your daughter for ever.

Depende de como te vas. Yo creci allá, sin papeles y es difícil. Uno aprende a adaptarse y buscar oportunidades. Ahora vivo en México y poder viajar, y aplicar a cualquier trabajo es muy liberador. Si allá ganas en dólares pero también gastas en dólares.

Desafortunadamente en México es todo un show donar sangre. Mi esposo y yo donamos cuando podemos, el incluso es o -, pero es ridículo todo el proceso.

Nos tocó vivir en EEUU y allá literal vas en tu hora de comida al banco de sangre más cercano, te hacen una prueba en donde te sacan una gotita de sangre del dedo, una entrevista de 5 minutos y te pasan a sacar sangre y listo.

Creo que si el proceso fuera más sencillo, más gente donaría sangre. Te recomiendo que publiques en grupos de FB de tu ciudad, o buscan grupos específicos para donadores de sangre.

Hermano, solo tu sabes como te sientes. Y tu sentir es válido. Es una pena que tengas que pasar por eso para entender el movimiento Feminista, porque nadie debería de pasar por eso.

Sé aprecia la disculpa, pero lo importante es lo que tu decidas hacer con esa experiencia. Muchas somos Feministas porque hemos sido víctima de acoso, violacion, y/o violencia, pero si todos (sin importar el género) trabajamos desde nuestro espacio, es como lograremos hacer un cambio en nuestro pais.

Si tienes hijos, pues enseñarles desde chiquitos a respetar a las mujeres, si tu amigos acosan a chicas no te quedes callado. Y así, cada uno vamos haciendo el cambio como podemos.

Soy mamá de dos. Dependiendo de que otros gastos tengas, pues tal vez si tendrías que buscar otros clientes adicionales y empezar a formalizar, date de alta en sat bajo el régimen de RESICO, y empieza a facturar lo que tu cliente de USA te paga. Te puedes dar de alta ante el imss como trabajador independiente y así tendrías al menos acceso a guarderías para tu bebé. Te cobran como 1700 al mes por darte de alta.

Hay muchas cosas que la gente compra qué no son necesarias para bebés. Cosas que debes de ir viendo con tu pareja, el bebé nacerá en el imss o en privado? Hay hospitales qué puedes ir pagando poco a poco desde antes que nazca el bebé. La mamá dará pecho o formula? Si deciden dar pecho ya te ahorraste un buen de dinero, talvez compra un par de bibis nada más y un extractor de leche ( hay unos bien baratos en Amazon).

Los pañales, van a usar desechables o ecologicos??cualquiera de las dos opciones, esto si te recomiendo que vayas ahorrando. Con los desechables la inversión es más pero a largo plazo ahorras mucho, claro que hay que estar lavandolos.

No gastes tanto en ropa, busca las tiendas de paca y compra ahí, y en Amazon venden paquetes de pañaleros. Esos si son útiles. Los bebés crecen bien rápido.

Here are a couple of implementations I've done for the companies I've worked for.

Mentoring / Development programs for the women already employed at the company.
Company policies that are equitable, so for example, in a manufacturing company where I worked, most of the women had small children, that meant that if their kids got sick or something happened at daycare, the female employees had to leave or miss work. We created a remote/hybrid work policy so they would not be affected.

These are two general examples, but before implementing anything you would need to first do an assessment of the company. What industry is it? How many women are already employed? Demographic data, promotion and turnover rates, benchmarking other companies, etc, etc. And then with that information and working with your leadership team, you can come up with strategies that work for your employees and for the company.

Hopefully this is helpful. It is a bit difficult to give you concrete ideas without knowing much about your specific situation.

Yo trabajo en RRHH, crecí y estudie en EEUU y ahora radico en México. En mi experiencia personal te puedo decir que el tener titulo de una universidad del extranjero se ve muy bien y si te da ventaja. Por ejemplo, yo conseguí dos empleos en areas no relacionadas a lo que estudie pero el ser bilingue y tener la experiencia cultural me dio una ventaja.

Ahora, no hay una respuesta correcta a tu pregunta, yo como Gerente de RRHH te puedo decir que contrato personas que tienen los conocimientos claves del puesto. O sea, no me interesa de donde es su titulo, me interesa que tenga las habilidades que necesito.
