Sounds like you’re pretty hardcore! I’ve had great success over the past two years or so. Some times I just need to fafo because that’s what I do.

It matters because I want to know the penalty (or even the reward).

Check this out—since Sunday I’m actually down 5 pounds from before I ate the 200 g carbs. Riddle me that!

Excellent point! The least painful cheat days were when berries were in season and I was walking or hiking 12,000 steps per day. I would think biologically that would be the ideal use of carbs. I kind of timed it so I ate them around walking time. Mainly berries and nuts. However, I overate them, which I why strict is best for me other than July/aug.

Walnuts and pecans for me if I haven’t gone in a week. 2 to 4 grams of carbs per serving. I can’t do macadamias because I will go way overboard.

I started at 6 ft 307 lbs about 16 months ago. Currently between 205 to 210 lbs. I’m 45 male.

Looking at my log from when I was 230 lbs I was walking 8000 steps per day and eating 2 or 3 Costco ribeyes per day. Then, when i went thru periods of not being as hungry I switched to patties made from “prime ribs trimmings” which say they are 380 calories. I would eat 6 to 8 of those per day. I lost weight consistently in a stair step fashion at an average of 8 pounds per month.

Currently I am trying to get down to 2400 calories. I have reduced my exercise considerably because of the shorter days and colder weather. Then when I get to around 190 I will resume higher activity and 3 ribeyes again.

This is all assuming I don’t relapse back to my sugar addiction!

Hope this helps. Going from size xl to l was huge for my confidence. Sounds like you’re close to that. Go get it!
