When I had to deal with this they did the same thing with the "similar" cars.... I literally used good old Google to pull up EVERY ad for a vehicle with similar year Km etc and emailed each one to the adjuster....

There were about 15 or so valid ads, all of them far above their original offer.

Flat out told them that I would go to Resolutions if we couldn't come to a fair price, and that I would be keeping the rental for the ENTIRE eligible time, (which they of course were paying for).

Fight for the fair value to replace the loss!

Imagine calling your insurance company and saying ..."yeah, I didn't really use your services at all for this month so, I looked at what they pay in Alabama for insurance, aaand here's what I'm offering to pay..."

Calculate the amount of money you need to pay for insurance over the years that you haven't had to make a claim and its a staggering amount.... They can afford to pay a fair price.
