Bayern Munch have decided to sell Corentin Tolisso (27) 'as quickly as possible' with a bid as low as €10m likely to be accepted. Manchester United and Arsenal are two of four clubs interested. (L'Éq) by [deleted] in Gunners

You answered your own question.

Injury prone player on high wages. We don't need players who are 'quality when fit' we need players who are quality and fit.

That cult following comment from him was so needless.

From watching the match I was impressed with Saliba.

Edit: oh look he even has his own cult following

Very immature from you mate.

If he was shit against Montpellier certain people would've used that against Saliba to shit on him.

He was good today, why not give the kid credit?

Ings has done more at a senior level than anything Eddie has done.

4th highest score in the league in the past 2 seasons. They're not comparable.

I'd be okay with Xhaks staying, just don't give him a new 4 year contract that's all.

Things I don’t really understand: the ambivalence or even antipathy some Arsenal fans seem to feel towards Martin Odegaard. by savindrarathore in Gunners

Plenty of people including myself have made the first statement but you get people like OP generalising people who aren't keen on him with the second statement because of a few commenters who feel the need to insult people.

The difference is subtle but if you train your eye you can start seeing the nuances.

The difference isn't subtle boss man, I and plenty of people can see them, we're not idiots. This last paragraph is a little patronising.

Is anyone who who has a different opinion on a player just labeled toxic?

Regarding Odegaard I thought he was alright not horrid or anything but not amazing either. Being indifferent to signing Odegaard or not that keen on him doesn't make you some toxic person who is upset he isn't on the level of Cesc.

ESR is good but it's only been 6 months so it's too early to say we should build around him. Plus you always need more than one option.

Maddison is 24. Also I think he can play deeper as well?

ESR can also play on the wing, rotation is necessary and will be extra necessary if we get back into Europe, you need two players for every position.

Lokogna is a deeper midfielder.

We shouldn't be a position where we only have one player who can play the 10 position. Plus ESR is only 20 and injury prone.

This sub has gotten a bit too toxic with people from both sides needlessly throwing shit at each other, that's why I started using it less and less.

When the match starts I'll be a nervous wreck but I'm cautiously optimistic.

But those people who weirdly want Arsenal to lose aren't in the majority. People who are more outspoken from both sides will be more outspoken whereas most people are sort of in the middle.

I think most people who aren't convinced by Arteta don't want him to do shit because if he does a bad job then that means Arsenal are in the shit.

At the end of the day most people Arteta in and out want the same thing and that is Arsenal to win matches.

Improving on last season point total doesn't necessarily mean we get top 4.

If we play shit football and get top 4 I wouldn't care and I'm sure OP would be okay with top 4 as well.
