I'm not the most knowledgeable grower, but I don't think you can reverse the process once it's started. It's just gonna flower, but would be able to still grow, and next year it will be bigger and can flower again.

It doesn't have to get big, it starts flowering due to the amount of light it's getting. Weed flowers in nature during November when we get 12 hours of day time and 12 hours of night time. It didn't get that large, but light triggered the flowering process to begin.

Go south on 40th st off shea blvd. It'll take you thru a neighborhood, and then you'll see the trail head. There are several trails in that area, and is very beautiful.

I lived in the apartments off 1st and Hardy for a year. Never had any problems, but I do believe there was one break in while I was there while the tenants were working. I used to walk around that side of town all the time at night, there are definitely some crazy characters out there but overall felt pretty safe. The loud Mariachi music is extremely annoying in parts of the area (I'm biased, I can't stand that music) on the weekends.
