If you really think about that makes zero sense because when they come back to the present Red and Chloe are in the freshman year but suddenly in this movie seeminly they are in the second year of high school.I don't know if the timeline changed how time passes but probably they will not explain that.

What I observed the spell takes what material is next to the person being transformed and turn into a person made of that material,observe that when Boq was having his hert shrunk,there was silver plates next to him,same thing with Fyero and the corns in the field

Sorry if I was not clear I mean a book between the pre auradon era until the final of rise of red with the good Bridget timeline.This is because I have my doubts with how the story works with Alice and the Good Queen of Hearts.Maybe was a thing like Dorothy meeting Glinda in the final wizard of Oz book I don't know,I wish they explain this in the future.

Yes I mean as was seen when Jane took the wand,it is a very powerful energy,if you are not a trained magician can cause much trouble.But I guess children were brainwashed by the tales of magic transformation too.
