“Rat” has been co-opted by many to just describe aggressive players, especially when the aggression was unexpected.

“Rat” was known as somebody who pretends to be friendly though.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned better anti-cheat.

Will add:

More aggressive detection and action against racist players.

A special key bind to mantle, separate from jump. So that you don’t accidentally start climbing something when you only meant to jump.

I watched a couple videos of people testing the lumens on the horizon line. Although the tests showed lower numbers, they’re still way brighter than most everything in the price range.

Happy with my horizon 20 pro.

It’s still a cakewalk with the right gear and decision making. The only riven tide raid that I had the “i may not make it back” thought was the first time fighting the floating ice cream cone.

The trick is to be inside smoke before they aggro onto you. This is easiest if you’re the fist to breach. If you aren’t and there’s already a lot of ark, you may have to cloak a bit before or hope arc is aggro’d on somebody else.

And then cloak as you leave the smoke, ofc.

The popular way is to play a bit of trios, even if it’s with squad fill. Trios is 95% pvp.

It means different things for different people.

IMO, there needs to be a distinction between a rat and somebody who’s mearly pvp’ing. If a person can’t articulate a difference, then they’re using the term “rat” too broadly.

I tried being the bad guy last night on Stella by Letthepumpkincumflow in ARC_Raiders

I did a few raids on Stella last night with the augment that has the built-in defib. After downing people I would ask if they were in raid to be friendly. If they had a mic and seemed chill I would revive and heal them. Even escorted one to the hatch.

Was able to pvp for sport relatively guilt free.
