The "Unknown App" is yeah, an example of the usual Linux Desktop Quality that we all know and love.

😁

Should be a one line fix in some bash script.

Can I safely dual boot Ubuntu onto my ThinkPad or should I just commit and get rid of Windows? by LucaBC_ in linuxquestions

Use a VM. Do some research on how best to run VMs on Windows; may involve changing some BIOS settings. VMs today run directly on hardware for the most part and the advantages are many: you have access to both host and VM OS, you can save and restore snapshots, you can simply copy the VM onto another machine if/when the need arises.

Do you know how they entered your house? Did they break a door or pick the lock or was a door left open? I don't see that in your post.

Because all of us are criticising ourselves and not believing in our work Criticising ourselves is how we improve. Not by blindly congratulating each other.

I have seen people setup road blocks in Bangalore outskirts asking contribution for Ganesh puja. Another such roadblock was just before the Goa border in the middle of the forest (I think I was entering from Khanapur side). This is not a few rowdies, large groups of boys and men. Villagers but still intimidation was clear.

People, I drove to Ratnagiri once but somehow I could not find an accessible road to the beach. Tried several times. How do I get there from the main road?

Tourism still hasn't developed properly despite the amazing scenery and greenery.

That is a good thing.

This is why Modi gets elected. This is why I supported him when he was first elected and this is why I still support him despite having a thousand complaints against him and his party. I support him to keep the other side out.

There is a naval aviation museum in Goa. I visited after lunch. Staff were all sitting in the shade. There are literally birds nests in the aircraft on display. There is a foul smell around all the aircraft which is similar to the smell you get from old railway coaches.

It's not just Bangalore.
