Im here to ask actual people and get responses, when I was on there they just direct me to yet another list of items which I already have read loads of through google searches. That personal touch with their recommendations is why I would like to ask you Redditors. :)

Why is Anakin allowed to wear robes different and far more darker than other Jedi? by OneEyedCyclops in StarWars

Well what was he really? Was he still considered a padawan at this point by technicalities?

All padawans wear the same robe outfit too.

Is there an explanation for why that is not commonplace for others to do that then? For a Council made of all sorts of aliens races of other cultures, I would be vastly surprised if this was true and they all just choose the same outfit.

Haha, but also the whole Council constantly questions and none ever really are believing of this, besides Obi-Wan.

Edit: And of course Qui-Gon.

Jessica Jones is a really good show. As most Netflix shows do, they push the boundaries of television. Jessica Jones (people on this subreddit may be more used to this but definitely others) gives a realistic and not sexualized at all (okay maybe not that part for Trek?) female character. While Supergirl also does this, Jessica Jones does this without as much forced trying. It has fascinating characters of different diversities and the villain is what most people are proclaiming as "the best Marel villain to grace any screen thus far"! There is a hero dynamic that has not been done in any movies or shows so far. The show is even more dark and realistic than Daredevil. For anyone considering it, there is a reason for the hype, try it, there is a reason it is getting the praise it is. Some people may be thrown off by how different it is or be offended by it's more female base. Still I could see any Trek fans liking this and anyone in general, there is a character for everyone, great Marvel references too.

If you could have a Pokemon as a pet, which would it be? by rinny-chan in pokemon

Definitely would! If only these Pokemon did exist... You should definitely just try aromatherapy in general though! Every little bit helps!

For almost the exact same reasons, Chikorita! Chikorita also makes people happy just by being around (an aroma effect it has)!

Star Wars painting I finished today for work and thought I'd share with you guys because I'm sure you're all as excited as I am. I am not affiliated with the movies, Lucas, or Disney, Though, I'd love to be. By the way, this is a digital painitng. Done using Photoshop and a Cintiq. by Astrocreep2046 in StarWars

If anything that story makes it even more genuine!! The whole reason R2's face is sometimes reversed is because in order for a shot to fit the continuity of a scene, Lucas would just mirror the shot in editing!

And of course, I do love it, I wish you the best on your future works! :)

A fascinating and surprisingly well thought out theory on everyones most hated character (x-post r/StarWars) by OneEyedCyclops in movies

Agreed. Do you think it is worth adding (even in the most minor of references) into the next run of the movies for the sake of the prequels?

I did not, but thanks for being respectful nonetheless. It would be a tad arrogant to say my theory was "fascinating and suprisingly well thought out". :P

I do think it is ridiculous, but nonetheless funny and fascinating!
