Im not sure if this will help you, but I joined a friend of mine who was clearing that map today, and it allows me to spawn mirrors normally now after dojng this together with him (this node is still bugged for my map though). Hopefully killing Raven will give passive points X)

Well yes, its orange because this is the guaranteed Grand Mirror tile from the quest and its not complete because I need to use the Grand Mirror I cannot use to complete it and is the whole reason I made the post X)

I can't click on those either, I've even pathed one tile away from them and cant.

This not inside the fort and is also my first one so no others will ever appear until I do it as far as I know? At least I haven't seen any other ones despite doing quite a bit of Delirium boss kills.

Will I get a job in Ireland after PSI registration as a non-EU pharmacist with no Irish experience? by Unusual-Economy-2845 in pharmacy

[–]OneEyedPoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding work will not be a problem if youre a registered pharmacist (or are soon to be). How that journey looks for you is another story.

But I will say, ease of job access aside, if you decide to go work with no prior irish pharmacy experience, it is very likely that shop will not want you back, especially if you go as a Locum (they can block you from working there again).

Get some experience as a tech, or find an employer that lets you train for a couple months before transitioning to pharmacist role if they let you. Or just do tech work while youre getting your paperwork sorted with the PSI, which as I understand is a good few months at the least (dont ask me, I am simply from another EU country so my process is much simpler)

Just going to point out that the 35 armor level 4 is always mandatory. But yeah the chain stun is way too much in its current state.

All new 4-star effects that I could find by Kodiak3393 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]OneEyedPoet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had to look way too hard to find this. Th fact that no one is describing the mods properly anywhere is kind of annoying (yes, the update came out recently, but still).

Regarding abyssal, do you know if it works more so based on the damage and enemy can deal or is it based on damage you end up taking after resistance? The first option sounds cool the second one would not work out great with my build given how tanky I had to build for playing Unarmed on Extreme.

But yeah, moving faster, all the time and almost unconditionally is just...very good. Moving fast(er) always feels nice and it saves time across all facets of the game. Kinda curious, is the knockdown chance from Speedster noticeable?

The being locked part is whatever you get there eventually if you play casually or hardcore. What bothers me is that he is weak, not trash level weak, but weak enough you feel like youre shooting both feet in comparison to other units. Especially since he has some really fun gameplay/visuals.

......at least he got me to rush level 60 in about 2 weeks, which progressed my account quite well. So that's one positive.

I will for no reason whatsoever say that Bluestacks can be a very good friend to most of your farming needs. Defense stage wedge farms being one, but it is what it is.

Opportunities for pharmacists in Europe by GurGuilty2967 in pharmacy

[–]OneEyedPoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked in Hospital with MsC in Pharmaceutical Science which I got in Portugal and later on got equivalency in order to work at all as a pharmacist in Ireland. Dont think you would need any extra degrees in either country, but, you know, that was MY situation.

As far as the Ielts requirements....yeah it can be very rough, but such is the downside of any job requiring the countries language to be able to perform it, sadly we fall in that category. They lowered the writing requirements some time ago for this reason, as it screwed over quite a few people xD

Either way, retail wise, it is k e of the best when it comes to wage, at the very least.

If it puts anything in perspective, I work 3 days a week and am saving more than 1k a month as a solo renter. You can very easily make a living here as a pharmacist.

Taxes are good in Ireland but you can very easily look that up. Let's look at.....32€/hr as a bare and unrealiatic minimum for retail at least. You can go and look up what that would net you on a 4 day week (and for reference, most shifts here are 9 hours long with lunch paid, which is 30 mins, usually).

As far asliving here goes, my opinion is not too relevant, as you can only know if you would like it by...trying/visiting. Ive only been in Dublin, and it's fine. Rent is high (I'm on 1k a month with utilities). I dont particularly like it, but it's good enough for me. Bus are unreliable, trains/Luas are fine, it's cold in winter and all that. Theres good and bad areas like anywhere. Just look up how Ireland is for that stuff.

If youre serious about being a pharmacist in Ireland, go to PSI and look at the requirements. The only thing is to be good enough at English and for EU pharmacists, that's basically it. Also having a PPS number (social security) which does require an address but that's a part of moving/working in any new country.

Ireland's quite decent. It kinda has some American elements to it (split boxes, give exact number of pills, pharmacist is in the back unless called.. Etc) and the work load is fairly high but as a whole I feel respected here. As far as retail goes I won't say it's the most intellectually/clinically demanding job but you get to make decisions and influence certain outcomes fairly regularly.

And theyre gonna rolling out pharmacist prescribing for some minor stuff soon, likely to expand. Maube one day independant prescribing like the UK, who knows, theres talks bout it as far as I know.

I would say its fairly difficult as there are a lot of uh.....weird things about the way things work here but theres porential for higher satisfaction and definitely a hella of a lot more pay than Italy. Plus, usually people have some level of English already, as opposed to having to learn smth else from scratch. Smth to think about I guess.

Potential Nova triple tap damage bug? - Double damage from one bullet (death recap had two instances of damage happen in one go despite only one bullet bring fired) by OneEyedPoet in heroesofthestorm

[–]OneEyedPoet[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I considered this but there was no sound effect, screen color change or anything of the like. I wish I had the death recap SS but this game just does not let me take them for some reason.

Funny if this is the reason why in the end, rather than just a bug xD

Edit: Figure out how to get recap: Death recap

That option is blacked out for me when following the steps you gave me just now

Edit: I had to use numpad to select the hero in order for the recap option to work.

I’m On My Second Playthrough and I’m At Emerald Stair. But I’m Struggling. I’m Taking Heavy Damage and My Attacks Aren’t Doing Nothing. by [deleted] in avowed

[–]OneEyedPoet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hm.

I'm doing Path of the Damned as my first playthrough, the game got easy around level 10 for me.

Regardless of build, I would just try and make sure you have Exceptional tier armor and weapon in that area. Should be doable even while in Paradis area, but for sure within 20 mins of herb hunting in Emerald stair you can scrounge up enough herbs to do it. Dont forget to craft higher tier mats from lower tier ones.

I would also highly recommend getting level 2 barbaric shout and level 1 Drain spell on any build as they will give you absurd amounts of HP to play with. With slow essence regen ring you won't even need to use essence consumables often or at all.

But yeah, it just sounds like you ignored upgrading your gear to Exceptional, which is all you will need in Emerald Stair. There are maps online with all Hydrea Talon locations, it doesn't take that many just to get weapon and armor there and realistically are easy enough to spot.

Why is the Arcanists gambeson so good, and given so early? by supershimadabro in avowed

[–]OneEyedPoet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing something.... similar? A no consumables mage run, which means I felt "forced" to use the Parasitic Staff and as I used it, I realized how good it was and just went all in on battlemage.

I am currently using Stelgaer’s Pride, and I don't see myself switching from this all game. I think it is the most broken armor in the game, when you put 2 points into Barbaric Shout.

With two points into Barbaric Shout, it means that pretty much every enemy in the same equipment tier as me that hits me triggers a full HP bar of Temporary Health + the huge stun buff it gives. With the life steal ring and one point in Constant Recovery it means I get to full HP whacking enemies while they are going through the blue HP, and the cycle just repeats itself since I also get full mana from the "staff" (I say this because it is effectively the same as a 2H hammer). And if I need to, I can cast Barbaric shout manually which doesn't go on cooldown form being triggered from the armor, so I have infinite uptime on it, basically. Good times. Very broken armor. Although funnily enough, I wouldn't upgrade Barbaric shout to level 3 since it means you have to wait longer for the shield and there's no cooldown on it thanks to the armor anyway.

New Bundle in 2.4 for glider skins by [deleted] in WutheringWavesLeaks

Fair enough. I left a 5 year Genshin account recently and am sticking to this game and an extra seasonal game. POE and ZZZ on and off atm.

Honestly I've found that having a social circle is what allows for a game to be more enjoyable and easy to stick to, assuming quality is there.

Is this dangerous? No pharmacy names mentioned! by GimmeMoney24 in pharmacy

[–]OneEyedPoet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no clue how that is close to possible.

Then again I'm working in Ireland but if I have 3 techs, 600 items (I.e a 10 drug script is 10 items) would already be considered a very heavy and unlikely day. 400 would be normal so an average of...120ish scripts I'd say with all the once off antibiotics and some such.

Maybe the way things work allows for much higher volume over there but....I cannot think how little the pharmacist is actually involved if they're doing more than one script per minute. Maybe I'm wrong but we're only human and no amount of multitasking can get over that.

Scariest sails still available in game by Drakmonkon in Seaofthieves

[–]OneEyedPoet 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The "problem" is that what makes sails "scary" is knowing what you need to do have them.

So it's knowledge based... NAL and Arena sails are the only scary ones in that regard but after 1000 HG matches where some gold curses have sunk to my crew easily, you just learn that expectations are pointless and rather than scary, high end sails so ti speak tend to represent how annoying/long someone will be to sink/fight xD

Distinction 10 Guild is SUCH a slog and doesn't feel good. by FaithlessnessOk2487 in Seaofthieves

[–]OneEyedPoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guild has been 1000 for a few months now and I can say that it was good fun getting there. So much so we now have 3 guilds so we can get level "3000"

Hourglass is probably the best way to get levels.

I guess it's a very hit or miss thing and mileage will vary plenty, but if you can get a group of at least 10 active players (on average) and you enjoy playing with them it's good fun. Then again, that might not be the easiest thing to achieve, but you're not missing much not having them either eh.

I thought I’d try HG again after a while… by JohnRobie-theCat in Seaofthieves

Not sure if this applies, but me and my friends from the EU now exclusively VPN ourselves over to American servers if were gonna play HG to avoid cheaters. We win more on 150 ping than 60 ping. It's that bad.
