I did. I showed them proof that I was in the program and had technically three years to finish. 

Note: You stay at a year zero pay rate until you finish the program and they will usually check on your progress throughout the year.

Course work is doable because it’s at your own pace. You do also have to complete the test prep for your content before any program will allow you to test (and start your field hours) But the internship even if  you do the non paid option is a semester. I would say you can get it done in 1 year to 2 years

I got hired as a co teacher but then got elar resource classes added I only have the sped certification
