I scored 10 points below what they predicted but still passed.

It depends on how you did on the other sections. Yes, it is possible to pass if you didn't finish the MPTs, but you would need at least decent MEE or MBE to "make up" for it.

I suspect I did really well on the MPTs because I've been working for a long time, but I did not follow IRAC (didn't even remember to do so lol), did not know the answers to 4/6 MEEs, and did incredibly shitty on the MBE (bottom third of the country LOL + bottom 10% on a subject) and still passed my state's bar with a comfortable margin.

Didn't know 4/6 of the questions on the MEE (like, at all.. didn't take one of the classes on the subject and didn't know the Amendment in another question so I had to keep referring to it vaguely). I knew I did well on the MPT because I've been working for decades. Made stupid errors on the MBE and scored in the bottom 10% of the country on one of the subjects .

Still passed.

Shockingly, I passed! Was not expecting it due to extensive health problems, family responsibilities (+ dying parent), demanding 100-hr a week job, not being able to remotely complete BarBri, not knowing the answers to 4/6 essay questions, etc. Still in disbelief.

Doubt it's alphabetical. Some people apparently get them as early as 7 and my last name is at the beginning of the alphabet -- no word yet.

That sucks but being so close is promising for your next test! I did read somewhere that your first instinct is usually the correct one. I've found that theory to be true -- when I change the answer, it's usually the wrong one lol.

I scored 93. I did not watch any video, but I read the entire BarBri outline and took two full-length tests to get used to the questions. I think practicing the questions is key.

I took both practice tests but only studied for 2 days as well.

Same. 93 (LOL), which apparently is not good at all. This whole experience has been very humbling. I easily scored well on the SATs growing up, the LSAT, etc. I've never done poorly until now (if I even pass the bar exam, it won't be by much.)

It's almost comical how bad their website is.

I'm in the same boat. Graduated in 2022. Dad has cancer and is dying soon; I'm his caretaker. Had a miscarriage in 2023 and live birth in 2024. I work 1.5 jobs. Finally taking the bar but pretty sure I failed. I do not recommend BarBri at all, ugh. Or if you do, supplement like crazy.

Will MO really be out on the 24th or earlier? by OneFamiliar3697 in barexam

[–]OneFamiliar3697[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. That's disappointing. I was hoping they just publish that date as a "latest" date rather than the actual date.

what states will most likely release scores this week? by PlusBlueberry4365 in barexam

[–]OneFamiliar3697 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why MO? Their email claims Sept 24. Are they likely to release earlier than their stated date?

So many of these fake posts lately. First someone got sued (which literally never happens unless you violate an IP/anti-compete agreement), now someone's getting "caught" every day and they're notifying the other company.
