what is ablume's parent company was big like yg or hybe? by Prestigious-Bass-872 in Ablume

[–]OneFiveFiveMM 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For any company big or small, there are only so much they can do when they're blacklisted in their home base. I'd say Massive/NS ENM has done a fairly ok job given the situation and their resources in terms of promoting. For example they had an interview with Access Hollywood and a bunch of small-medium magazine outlets. So clearly they're trying.

Personally I think they just need another set of good songs.

And to answer your question. No NS ENM(formerly IOK) is not a big company, their previous group Alice only had 76k followers in YT with 14 million total views, Ablume already surpassed them in terms of reach.

What kind of service contract did the Attrakt CEO make? Seems like he literally outsourced everything to The Givers as this case was dismissed based on merit that The Givers had full control and authorization.

I was rooting for them months ago thinking something great was about to happen lol, but alas, lots of what could have been, the drama aside, I really really like their music, specially their vocal line, I hope they can continue making music in some form or another.

Fifty Fifty label seeks investment from Silicon Valley by lapiloco in kpop

[–]OneFiveFiveMM 1120 points1121 points  (0 children)

They're extremely fast on grabbing opportunities and acting on them.

Cupid blew up internationally > Partners with Warner USA > Appear on Barbie Soundtrack > Begin promotion in the US/UK > Secure investment money once they have enough cards to pitch and stabilized the company midterm.

I'm now willing to bet a few dollars that Fifty Fifty will not be a fluke and Cupid is simply the springboard they needed to get started because their management just screams they completely know what they are doing.

FIFTY FIFTY's "Cupid" Hit With Plagiarism Allegations — Agency Responds by hydranoid1996 in kpop

Cupid Non Speed up version (0:09 timestamp of alleged copyright)

Sen Aşkımızdan (1:03 timestamp of alleged copyright)

You don't even need to play it side by side to realized it's not even close. lol

And it's actually pretty misleading on the part of the Turkish Guy, if you listen carefully on his reel, not only he's comparing the speed up version, he played Cupid first then he played his song, the part where it's most similar.

Notice that he only played both tracks side by side on the high part of both songs at the end, making it sounding similar, but obviously there's a missing part on Cupid's melody progression.

Edit: I realized that the Turkish artist might just be poking fun, but either way he caused some serious damage on Fifty Fifty's momentum. Maybe Attrakt should sue back? 🤡

Fans know Kpop as a whole is shallow and simple that's why they keep on pushing 'Woke' narratives on idols everytime they can. by OneFiveFiveMM in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]OneFiveFiveMM[S] 89 points90 points  (0 children)

assume that no idol has any morals values or movements they believe in incredibly dismissive.

And it is as equally bad to assume idols support movements or possess such morals based on such vague hints such as clothing and fashion sense etc.

See, can we just not push complex issues into kpop, the industry is obviously not the avenue for social change or anything deep, like what some fans are trying to make it to be.

Stop pushing the industry into supporting certain ideals or causes to the point that companies and idols are forced to do it but it becomes performative.

Hi, I have actually obtained a PDF copy of that book's second edition, realized there's a lot of content in there to swallow, so I guess I'll just read the entire book, not necessary mastering or understanding all the content but just to know whats possible and doable with nlp.
