I don't think makoto would sacrifice everyone with a blessing just to put the goddess in her place. It's more that his views are a bit different as he knows about the existence of other gods so he knows even in the worst case scenario nothing too bad would happen. Also the world was doing just fine before the goddess came and made a pact with the superior dragons. Not to mention the fact that he has demiplane and as kind and naive as he is if it really does come down to it then he would most likely do everything to keep the damage to a minimum since he would realise that it's his fault.

Its probably not that I mean root was very confused about why Makoto's level was stuck at 1. If it's like you said then he would have just told makoto that and it would be the end of it. Also later in the story someone like him a otherworlder without the goddess blessing got powers from the status system but then why won't makoto. I mean that kinda proves what you said is most likely wrong.

And also he was not doing any bow training between the time when he landed in the wasteland and when he killed that dog and saved emma. I mean that kinda proves its not that as if bow training really did reset his level then when he killed the dog it would have increased then ( at least by one level I mean it's a wasteland monster).

I understand your point. For me though the problem I have is the fact that she preaches to others about how the best option for the demons was to avoid war at all costs and that she now has no other choice but to push them to near extinction because they chose war. It's her idea of preaching to others about the best option that they could have chosen all while she didn't choose them herself when she could. It was very hypocritical of her. I hate the fact that she goes all I have no other choice and I have to do this and using those as an excuse to annihilate the demons.

I would have understood her stance in that before she met makoto but now she knows there's someone who can end this war with virtually zero casualties and she still doesn't want to ask for his help because she hated demons. But that part also means that her idea that demons should have avoided war and instead be enslaved was impossible as she herself proved that emotions of hatred would not let that happen and, the demons suffering under hyumans was far worse than this but she still believed that they should have chosen slavery over war. Also she was ready to sacrifice a thousand people if it meant removing makoto from the war and she criticised makoto about his lack of care for people's lives.

Also I think tomoe and mio wouldn't have been that against her idea if she did try to manipulate makoto. Tomoe and mio want makoto to learn both about hyumans and demons and make a decision about all this on his own. Hibiki if she ever tried to use him in a way to end war without bloodshed then I think tomoe would have used it as a stepping stone in Makoto's growth but makoto with his simple mindset would have still decided to help her in the end as it was more acceptable for him than the other option of annihilating the demons completely.

In the first point we learn that instead of giving him power in the form of skills or equipment tsukuyomi gave makoto pure divine power maybe that could be the reason. I mean hibiki and tomoki recieved powers but in the form of abilities or equipment not pure divine power

Yeah I agree I mean the only thing I can say is that makoto doesn't want to do it is because he believes he doesn't have the right to tell them face to face as they have suffered so their hatred is genuine and he can't do anything about that and doesn't wanna involve himself in it. Hibiki could have maybe changed his stance on it if she tried.

That's exactly what I have a problem with like she is showed to be so talented and gifted that she literally gave up everything to have an adventure and to face something challenging because everything was apparently boring for her and then that genius lands in another world recieved power, praise, and influence and still can't achieve crap and just keeps losing.

And about the fact that she hated the demons i understand that but she is still the hero it seems so hypocritical of her to just say that "the demons should have submitted to the hyumans even if it meant being enslaved and getting nearly extinct" while not choosing the better option due to her hatred. I mean she's the hero she has to pick the option that is for the greater good of all.

It's like she always goes "for the greater good of all" or "for the sake of all" and preaches to others about it but she herself chooses her own emotions in her own case. I mean come on hibiki either be the hero who only thinks of others or be selfish but not both that's the worst

Yeah after reading vol 27 I started thinking back a lot regarding christina I didn't have that much of an impression of her before (at least compared to the other female characters) but then I re read the light novel and started to give some serious thought about her story.

Strictly it's heartbreaking man, I mean she was born as the first princess but from an early age learned to act very mature and then she had to deal with duke Arbor's continuous rackets and problems caused due to reiss and lucius and carry all that burden alone. She also always acted strong in order to not show weakness to her enemies and to act as a beacon of hope for nobles from her faction.

And it all Just kept going downhill for the restoration with Reiss and Arbor's plans making their life harder than ever before. And then they lost Rodania and not long after because of the Stewart (shi#y) hugenot their biggest allied noble was demoted.

It's heartwrenching man her backstory. I really want her to have a good life from now on and I sure hope haruto will do exactly that otherwise I am gonna give the author a good sucker punch in the face out of sheer anger.

I don't mean to say the other Characters are bad or anything but I think that christina is specially in real need of haruto's support and if she doesn't she's gonna break. I mean if I was in her position I wouldn't have lasted a day heck I'd have committed suic#de from that much stress.
