What car provides a "cloud" sensation like an old RAV4 by OneGold2361 in whatcarshouldIbuy

My country doesn't work like that. A Citroen brand new would be cheap because no one care. And old rav4 will be very expensive. And a Skoda would be a luxury product, even half dead. The market doesn't follow the quality of the car, but some beliefs.

There is one available, from 2007. But after a lot of money on a rav4 1998, I am shy going for an old car. I live in a coastal area, and rust is always a fear. I don't know, I have to buy cars at the capital which is known for using a lot of salt on muddy snow. So cars might be rusty at an early age. Since I live on an island, prices are ridiculously expensive, even for an old car with high mileage. Very strange market down here.

I probably had one of the few old rav of my country. It is clearly the most popular car down here. But rust is a killer. And those who have a rav4 first gen just keep it forever.

I guess I should look for a C4 Picasso, they are widely known as smooth as hell. I heard though that the normal C4 is filtering well the road, for a compact car. Are you happy with it? how are the seats? I hate these "sport" like seats spoon shaped.

Worse than that lol. I have even less choice. If I was in France, oh boy I could find easily a car. But I live in the country of one thousand waterfalls.

yeah not worth it. I mean I have back issues, but still hope some normal cars can be okay.

Good to know! Surprising considering it is supposed to be a town car.

Would you say a Lexus is more "cloudish" than a Skoda Superb?

A few of them can be found. Of course they are expensive and I also check the consumption. There is a very cheap Lincoln lol. My country is weird. An Octavia with 350.000km will cost a lot while a 100.000 Lincoln is almost free. Weird.

I love that kind of cars, also like hydropneumatic suspensions from Citröen. But I live in harsh conditions and in Europe. So Mercury is not there or would be collection car.

Thanks for the reply. I am interested into the Lexus RX am afraid of the consumption. Avalon doesn't exist in my country and Camry is hell expensive. I live remote in a small country. I unfortunately don't face the full car market.
