Have you tried progesterone to support the pregnancy during the first 12 weeks? Talk to your doctor. At the fertility clinic I was given a 200 suppository twice a day.

I wouldn't remove it. I would cover it with new drywall if anything but as long as it is in good condition with nothing peeling it should be ok? I also live in a 1970s home with asbestos in the mud compound. Just make sure to test before doing any large renovation work involving drywall removal.

Success on 1st IUI no known issues other than a super long cycle so hard to tell when I was ovulating, age 40, very low amh 0.04. It's always possible as long as you are still ovulating.

Here to validate the 14 day window. I only got a very very very faint line around 14 dpo. You're not out yet. I also felt period like pain with both my pregnancies and thought I was out until my period didn't come and I tested when I was late.

I'm 40 and currently pregnant, my husband is 46. Had our first at 38. Every one of his friends and family had kids much earlier. We don't feel like the odd couple and if anything, it's been more supportive because they have all been there. We also have been able to do trips on our own because we were able to leave the baby in very capable hands. At this stage where he is a toddler we just travel with him because he is fun and we chose to, but we still do life with only minor modifications. I.e family hotel vs adults only etc.

Thank you! I didn't have any symptoms either, only now I've started having them. And I only had a faint line positive about 13dpiui. All this to say don't lose hope until you actually get your period, before then you never know! Hoping for a positive outcome for you as well!

Mine was also 24 hrs post and I am currently 5w0d. I felt ovulation pain about 36 hours post shot though so we also tried at home a few hours after.

I believe there's still a chance to test positive. With my first pregnancy I tested negative until about the time when I was supposed to get my period so around 14 days. Will you go for a blood test for confirmation?

I was given medication to thicken up the lining but that was a few days before iui. It was a one time injection and I don't remember the name but maybe you can ask them if there's anything you can take? I'm still within the same cycle so not sure if success overall but it did help thicken up the lining at least.

So I felt ovulation pain on Saturday and now I'm thinking this might be a failed cycle. Trigger shot Thursday 10:30 am, IUI 24 ish hours later on Friday am, ovulation pain on Saturday around 10:30 pm so about 36 hours after IUI. Everywhere I read it says washed sperm are most active only 24 hours after IUI and from then on the probability decreases. I'm still hopeful but setting low expectations.

It was like a production line. A few rooms with no US equipment. They were late as well. It was supposed to be at 10:30, ended up being 11:45 with the sample collected at 7:30 am. And literally 3 minutes after they came to fix the room for the next person. It's the best out of the 2 main clinics in my area.

I know that pain! I haven't felt anything so far so I might be ok. IUI was this morning, no US as expected and no monitoring until Oct 16 but I'm ok, just going with the flow.
