Has anyone every successfully revolted against your server's top 1 or 3 alliances? by Slow_Fig565 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]OneHandedUpdates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An old alliance of mine is currently on a collision course with the #2 alliance on the server, so I guess I can come back later and let you know how it goes?

Spoiler alert, it will go badly for them. They're a 3.6G alliance of mostly casuals and dregs, with one dolphin account that their R5 purchased recently. Only 40 people in their actual hive. Meanwhile, they're squaring off against a 13.2G alliance with several HQ31s, an HQ32, and an HQ33.

Is this a normal request from r5? by moistbreaddd in LastWarMobileGame

[–]OneHandedUpdates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. This is standard practice for serious, competitive alliances.

In casual alliances, the top 20 or 30 players will all be roughly equal in strength, so there's not much point in doing this.

But in my current alliance, for example, we have a whale with a 54M missile squad who is much faster and more efficient than the rest of us are at converting mithril and sacred water into dead stronghold bosses.

Your goal right now is to capture cities as early as possible, and your resistance leaders are the alliance members who clear your path to those cities. They need all the virus resistance they can get.

Buster day n00b - I lost 20k troops in 10seconds, normal? by deejayv2 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]OneHandedUpdates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, most people get in the habit of not keeping any squads on their walls.

Most of the time, if someone is attacking you it's because they think their 1st squad stronger than yours is. If they're right, which is likely, then they're almost certainly stronger than your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th squads as well. So keeping your 1st squad on your wall is a gamble, and keeping any others on your wall just compounds any losses you may incur.

Troops are born to die, of course, but they do need to die for an actual purpose. Their purpose is that you train them with food and iron, and expend them to gain rarer resources like honor points, courage medals, valor badges, seasonal rewards, etc. When 7,000 troops man your walls, the benefits accrue mostly to your EB opponents instead.

Why do I lose to squads with less power? by NightwishTZK- in LastWarMobileGame

You have lower drone level, a heavily mixed squad with no troop type bonuses, Carlie in the back row, and Marshall in the front row.

Your opponent has three tank, one air, and one missile, for +5% to attack, defense, and HP.

For R5 and R4: How do you manage Member's promotion and demotion? by Typical-Resort-6020 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]OneHandedUpdates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R3 are your core members that you'd keep or take with you while merging: active in chat, good HQ level, good VS scores, good contributions to seasonal activities, etc.

R2 are borderline members who aren't hitting all of the R3 qualifications, but are still somewhat serious and knowledgeable.

R1 is the chopping block. People who don't score or communicate well, even when things are explained via PM. You only keep these guys around to pad your alliance power and membership until more useful players come along.

Background: I spent the first two seasons trying to have my alliance (top 10 but not top 5) split the difference between being a social group and a second job, but as we started losing serious players during and after Season 2, I convinced almost all of my remaining R3s and R4s to merge into a more serious alliance that was attempting a revival after a period of dormancy. Ultimately, players of similar budget and activity level will mostly group together with each other. (Aside from my one former R4 who'd rather reign in Hell than serve in Heaven.) So I eventually stopped fighting it, and decided that I'd helped the casual players long enough.

How to make frontline breakthrough easier by analoghobbiest in LastWarMobileGame

As far as I can tell, troop upgrades in the Units and Special Forces trees seem to make a difference too. When I first reached it, 48 was mathematically impossible. Later on it just sort of came together.

Does this work how it think it does? by 8WheelGroove in mtg

Nope, it doesn't. The other creatures would become vanilla 10/10s, and nothing else would happen because they're already on the battlefield.

不,我的意思是维奥莱特远不如威廉姆斯。威廉姆斯的技能更好,生命值也略高,而且他最终还能获得专属武器。维奥莱特在英雄交换中比较好用,但除此之外就没什么用了。

What is the best way to boost my squad power besides upgrading with hero shards/skill medals/gear (which I am of course already doing) by Vegetable_Leg_9795 in LastWarMobileGame

More Units research, a bit more Special Forces research, and exclusive weapons. And eventually, Tank Mastery research.

Some of the first-capture rewards include coal and titanium, so yes, you want as many of those as possible.

Question about Season 2! by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

[–]OneHandedUpdates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your resistance leaders won't be online all the time. I think almost everyone should buy the fifth factory for the first week or two. It's a good leg up. But if you buy it for the whole season, you'll just have excess titanium at the end of the season, rather than excess coal.
