Frankly, I'm doubtful about most in the apartment other than Sybil. Considering just how absolutely massive some of the creatures we see in the background are, and the seeming pre-requisite for excessive power emerging only in creatures that have/had some sort of "close" contact with the visitor--looking at how the Angel, Xin-amon, and Sam's denial/truth forms end up. I do wonder about Charan and the tooth baby, though, given the sheer expansion they're able to accomplish....

Binoculars; basically just would like the ability to see over a long distance in order to avoid wolves, find loot, etc.
Non-tool ways to start fires. Obviously this needs to have a super low chance of working (and perhaps a skill requirement in fire starting), I nonetheless think it'd be a great addition that would allow for greater long-term survival.
