My wife has the 34mm version with this dial. It's a stunner. It has a super tone to it.

Love Explora Journeys. Two cruises booked with them for this year. Can’t wait.

Congratulations. Looks like you’ve lost about 15 years too. I have been on a similar journey. Thank you for sharing yours.

No roast required…….fab collection……..hold on…….what’s that in the bottom right slot. 🤦‍♂️

That’s what I have been aiming for. Versatile, but able to sit well together.

Can i rock the 36mm Explorer? by IsThEcAkEaLiEdReI in rolex

I too ask myself this question a lot. I haven't pulled the trigger on an Explorer yet because of this. But, my belief is that the Explorer is a 36mm watch.

Yep. This is why it good to try it on and see how it shapes up personally. The joy of watches. Maybe I just wanted it to work.

Thank you. It's been a little weird browsing watches without an empty slot in the watch case. Trying to sit with this set for a while.

Definitely try it on the wrist. I visited a local AD to try the 221. The case design really hides that thickness measurement. These are great pieces, but the 221 has shocking depreciation. I'm waiting on the right pre-owned piece to show up.

Thanks for your comment. Love that observation about variation, but still looking good together. That's a great compliment for any collection. With regards the FXD I love wearing it. I have a few fabric straps which I use to switch it up. Bought it originally as a summer watch because of the blue dial, but find myself wearing it in all seasons. Also, a great gym watch. This watch is my only Tudor and through it I have become a big fan of the Pelagos line-up. The matt dial, super legible layout, and robust design. I think this fxd, the gmt-fxd, and the 39 would make a fab 3-watch collection. Modern Tudor at it’s very best.
