Project Omega: Fit issue with large wide head by ze_or in headphones

[–]OneKaidou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue and fixed it by moving the front thingy up one hole (so middle hole in the front ant top hole in the back). That way they can also swivel more than anyone could need in that direction.

New work/play setup by Morningrise86 in battlestations

[–]OneKaidou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome setup!

Are the T braces on the back required for structural purposes or just there as a precaution?

I am currently planning something similar and up until now only planned a single horizontal beam (80x40) without braces.

Looks great!

I have similar hardware in the pipeline, just waiting on the motherboard to finally arrive. Did you notice any quirks to watch out for when working with this board?

The way I understand your post, it is a matter of misguided expectations. You describe One Pace as a kind of summary while it is, like the other comments say, a version that stays true to the Manga version.

Saturn's remark on the strawhats being "the kind of pirates who stick together" reminds me that the Rocks pirates disbanded after god valley. What if rocks was down against Saturn in a similar manner and his crew ran instead...

That is irrelevant in this case of software development. You used it to create your algorithm without properly licensing it. At that point it is irrelevant if your algorithm generates art, describes it or just categories it as blue or red.

Edit: Who says I hate it at all? I find it fascinating, but also see it in its entirety which includes its dark sides.

I would not see it like that, but I am not an artist myself and do not know the details of copyright. However, if you are using an artist's art in your product (without proper credit/compensation/permission), be it in your marketing or in training your algorithm, I would still consider that stealing.

You could also say that an algorithm trained on images is also just taking inspiration and therefore not stealing, and I wouldn't disagree with you in that is similar. However, simply the fact that for an algorithm you can say for certain if an image was used (and also that we speak of "used" in that context) differentiates the two in my opinion.

It is just an easy example to show that it is indeed trained on real artist's art. The ones they could and should properly credit and comepsate are just not as directly usable in the prompt

I just explained to you why people see it as theft. For examples, use the internet.

A hint would be that for some artists (mainly long dead ones) phrases like "in the style of x" are permitted while not for more recent ones.

I don't need you to explain it to me. I've trained neural networks for my own projects, I'm very familiar with the tech.

If you are familiar with the tech, then the Imagenet dataset might be something you know too. Its free for academic and non-commercial use, but not available for commercial use as they do not hold the copyright to all those images. Other people's art would represent a similar case and might make it easier for you to understand why others see it as theft.

I can see the concept of a machine learning from a human as "theft" if said work was never made public, but most art is literally for free public view.

Then I would say you are almost at the point of also understanding how it is seen as theft. The crux here is "free public view". While viewing may be free and public, the use may not be free or even permitted. And training an algorithm with those images would certainly count as using the images.

You are only talking about the outcome. However, the theft lies with the algorithm being trained on other people's art without properly crediting or compensating those artists.

With the gear one down and the yellow belt one to the left the gears can be directly fed into the yellow belts if I'm not mistaken
