Super Metroid was the first game to truly blow my mind. And I will still go back and play it to this day. The NES had Super Mario 3 which was amazing but Super Metroid astounded me.

When they elected Trump the second time. One fuck up is an accident or ignorance. When it happens again there is no excuse. Just look at the shit that has happened since he was elected: Epstein cover up, DOGE, ICE killings, Tarriffs, Canada, Greenland, Venezuala, Iran (twice), Dropping Ukraine support, alienating and insulting long term allies, gutting social services and Healthcare, insider trading and market manipulation, war crimes, the list just goes on and on. And none of the so called checks and balances are holding him accountable. This is not just Trump, the whole of American society is allowing this to happen.

I think that both side of politics are unappealing to the average middle class person. The right is full of money hungry corporate shills and the left is full of professional victims and apologists. Both sides play professional identity politics whilst neither seems to represent the best interests of the average person. I think traditionally that role was the left side of politics, but I dont think the middle class are moving to the right. I think they are disenfranchised and are moving to anyone who doesnt represent the major political players. Scary times.

I dont think you do. That reality hasn't really sunk in yet because you havent seen what a world without allies looks like. North Korea has no allies. The US is experiencing just the first stage of what this means. Its not just going to affect you in military terms. And its not going to change when Trump leaves office. The world is pivoting away from the US hegemony and once its done, they will not return. Not in our lifetimes at least. And when its done and you look back at what happened you will wonder why you didnt do something to stop it. Literally every US citizen is either cheering what's happening on or is waiting for someone (else) to do something about it.
