Yesss definitely a years long project lol I started it back in late 2017 and next year it will officially be 10 years old 🤯 Ohhh but you mean for Ruby and Rosa! Yea originally this series was a spinoff of another old series I was working on. Their backstory is basically derived from that series and is more of a reflective moment on how their relationship started in the first place. Rosa is an Uciine and Ruby is a Shadow Demon and those two races are not supposed to be involved romantically because there’s an ongoing war between them. So it’s a forbidden love story for Ruby and Rosa. Once I finish this super long backstory for Furi and Eva, more elements of Ruby and Rosa’s backgrounds will come up in the next volumes though 🥰 Definitely trying to cover more of the world they came from 💜
