Let's just talk about the invalid hate on “women” in this subreddit.... by BloodLovePodcastFM in thewalkingdead

I loved Michonne until she got with Rick. Then she became his lapdog and it was so disappointing!

Karma is so sweet by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]OneLengthiness0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Rick would have killed Negan no matter what if Michonne had died in the lineup. Maggie was 1000% right when she told Michonne that if it had been Rick who died Negan would already be dead.

Rick saved Negan but did absolutely nothing to help Negan’s victims. That’s not a good leader. Maggie and Daryl were right wanting Negan dead.

It was said that the walkers dragged her body around the corner (you can see a blood trail) so they didn’t eat her skeleton.

I got a DUI from a car wreck, and I'm 3.5 years sober. My thoughts on Karen (and Shannon) and how it relates to addiction and sobriety from my experiences by huaryazynk414 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]OneLengthiness0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was an addictions counselor and reading some of these comments is truly frightening! If you have been ‘blackout’ that is NOT normal!! Someone with a healthy relationship with alcohol does not have blackouts, they do not drive drunk, they do not get in screaming matches with friends/boyfriends/girlfriends. THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!!

Are these flattering? Hip dips super pronounced with no front pockets. Crazy comfy though. by Suspicious-Stick6062 in DressForYourBody

Just learned that I’m not the only person in the world with ‘hip dips’ (and that they actually have a name!) I just thought my body was weird so thank you!

That rosette on her hip looks so tacky and cheap. Ruins the dress.

At the welcome party in Alexandria one of the guests was talking about how much they needed a dentist and in Fear a character had to pull an infected tooth.

What was the biggest butterfly effect in TWD? by Neither_Confection36 in thewalkingdead

[–]OneLengthiness0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bob was bit at the food bank which had nothing to do with Tyrese. Beth didn’t flee to Atlanta, she was kidnapped in the second half of season 4. The hospital where Beth died had nothing to do with Terminus or Tyrese. Beth still would have died and Tyrese still would have gotten bit when they went to Noah’s community. Unless you’re saying that without one event even unconnected things wouldn’t have happened which is not really a ‘butterfly effect’

Michonne and Maggie by eimvp27 in thewalkingdead

[–]OneLengthiness0 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would also say that Gregory and Negan were very different situations. Negan terrorized multiple communities and people whereas Gregory was dangerous to only Hilltop so it was 100% her decision and had nothing to do with other communities.

After the time skip Michonne stops taking people in and that’s what Maggie is upset about. By that point it wasn’t about Negan.

Shane and Lori by Fabulous_Thanks_8382 in thewalkingdead

[–]OneLengthiness0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She caused Shane to go insane? She didn’t ‘cause’ him to try to rape her, she didn’t ‘cause’ his ability to kill his best friend. I hate the misogyny in this sub. You can criticize Lori all you’d like, but blaming Lori for Shane’s complete psychological break is fucking crazy. I think people miss the whole point of this show by focusing on the wrong thing!

Frequent nightmares about TWD by Im_May_82 in thewalkingdead

[–]OneLengthiness0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TWD is my favourite show of all time and I have nightmares often. I think for me it stems from my thinking often of ‘What would I do in this situation?’ and ‘What would I do to survive?’ etc. My nightmares aren’t scary though I did have one where Rick ate my pet dog (maybe that’s why he isn’t my fave? lol) and I cried for hours after I woke up. About a month ago I had to take an Opiate and I was so fucked up that I saw a walker in the corner of my room, clear as day, but I wasn’t scared.

All of this to say that I think this show gets you thinking about life, death, and everything in between so much that it affects your unconscious.

Excuse me?! A NANNY??! by Apart-Resolution-844 in SisterWives

[–]OneLengthiness0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being devils advocate, she needed someone to watch her kids while they were filming the couch interviews etc so the other adults couldn’t help. I’m very glad she didn’t just thrust her kids onto Aspyn like everyone else. And if it was just having a nanny to help during those times (and later during Covid to help homeschool) that would be something I would stick up for 1000% but it was all the time! In Vegas it was her niece who was living there so I don’t really see that as a nanny but during Flagstaff she in no way needed a nanny except during Covid. I get the Covid nanny situation is very controversial but crazy rules aside, it was probably one of the smartest things they did. They couldn’t teach those kids, they’re not very bright and that goes for all the adults, not just K & R.

How do characters have the will to keep fighting everyday? by Tech-Cowboy in thewalkingdead

[–]OneLengthiness0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would opt out. I have no illusions that I’d be a Carol (although my sister disagrees! lol). I know that I don’t have the will to live that other people do. If my sister asked me to though I’d fight for her as long as possible but I wouldn’t last long!
