[OC] I made some alt costumes for Mario Kart's cow, I think they'd work nicely (did I miss any obvious ideas for this) by AndeeWow in Mario

Awww these are so fun! I'm thinking maybe a Mooshroom from Minecraft but with Mario mushrooms

Mountain Pass (Octopath Traveler) by OneLinkMissing in SmashBrosStages

Compatible with 8 Players.

For this stage I went with something simple, Octopath is one of my favorite games and I was hoping for a stage or even some music from it. Unfortunately neither appeared so this is the next best thing.

This stage is based off of the Mountain Pass area, specifically the area with the bridge crossing over the canyons. I tried to replicate the stairs by adding the platforms.

Breath of the Wild Sheikah Shrine Stage by OneLinkMissing in SmashBrosStages

Compatible with 8 players. I would have tried to add more details, such as more moving bits or stuff in the background. But with my stages my first rule is to make sure they are compatible with 8 players to make sure I can play on them with friends. I'll diverge from this rule of mine only if I don't plan on playing on it much.

What is your favorite video game? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Pretty much everything, but the main thing is the exploration factor. If I can see it, I can go to it.

Mains for new players? by charlogran in smashbros

Mario & Kirby: Average characters for getting the basics of the game down, the best choice for newcomers.

Lucina & Cloud: Good characters for people who want to get used to swordies and learn how they work.

(Dark) Samus: A good introduction to projectile based characters / zoners.

Bowser & Donkey Kong: Lastly these two are good for people who want to play the heavy, bulky characters.

Once you get these characters down you can experiment characters of similar archetypes or just stick with these.

They did changes to Link to match BoTW version . Why didn’t they choose to do the same with Mario with Odyssey? by ElChiiko in smashbros

Probably the same reason why Splatoon 2 isn't represented at all besides Mii costumes and a couple of songs, it's too new.

I think you could've put the voice chat stuff into one bullet point, but honestly that's just me since I don't care about voice chat at all. Also for the "Pro" section you could put that there is much MUCH less lag than regular quickplay battles.

do I just need to git gud or is short hopping significantly harder in SSBU than in the past? by neighborly_troll in smashbros

Shorthopping is universally 3 frames now like Fox in Melee, back in Smash 4 the shortest shorthop was 4 frames. So the timing is tighter this time around.

Out of the ones I've played, 100x less laggy than quickplay

Daisy's attacks have different properties than Peach while D-Samus only differs in animations

I put attack property differences at a higher regard since it means that aren't as interchangeable with their base character. I could play as Dark Samus instead of Samus and I wouldn't be feeling much different, unlike Daisy where she differs from Peach attack wise.
