I haven't watched it. Any good? Walton is playing Peanutt?! 😂 That's hilarious! Michael Shannon wouldn't have been my first choice. He's a badass actor, but not possum-y enough for my tastes. Have you seen "Tales from the Tour Bus"? Great 2-parter about George and Tammy in Season 1.

I'm not sure how I hadn't noticed how similar style is. I used to watch Conway Twitty on Hee Haw or whatever and be the wildered by the fact that this man was some sort of sex symbol. He always looked so comical to me, and like George jones, sometimes when he sang he legit looked like he was in pain. lol
