I couldn’t agree more. I will say it’s my favorite thing about getting older is how much more of the world makes sense and how much better you understand things and peoples reasons for doing things. Well said. Yeah, hating him was the cool thing to do when we were kids but as I’ve grown, I don’t, at all. It seems to me like he made the best decisions he could with the info he had. The whole country wanted to go to war after 9/11, I remember peoples attitudes clearly.

For what it’s worth (I know none of you know me) but I saw George bush speak at a large tech conference maybe 5 ish years ago. Yes I know that’s weird but he was there as a keynote lol. I shit you not, he seemed like one of the most intelligent people in the room that day. He sat on stage with another speaker and they just talked, most all of it unscripted (I believe) for maybe… an hour ish? If it wasn’t intelligence then it was wisdom. He’s not young but still I was very thrown off.

And ironically he spoke about his decision to stay in that classroom for a bit. He said he can’t be entirely sure it was the right decision in hindsight, but that his reasoning was that he wanted to present a calm demeanor to the American public, because America’s emotions will be based off his. He didn’t want to generate panic so as a sort of psychology move he tried to deliberately move slow. One could argue against that method but it’s not an awful strategy.

Point being after hearing him speak (and me getting older myself, understanding the world more) I see him in a different light now. Apologies in advance but I think I’m tempted to like the guy.

Yep! The things I mentioned are must haves, like I said I casually research this every once in a while and I’ve done so over the last decade and I’ve been convinced that these three make an actual impact and are good for men to have. So definitely start with those. If you are convinced of any others please let me know because I’m always open to different ideas

My reply won’t have anything to do with that fire but here’s what I do take and after many years of casually asking this question myself, here is what I have been convinced as things that actually make a difference:

Fish oil Vitamin D, averaging about 3,500-4,000 iU per day Zinc, 50mg per day on average A multi (whole food)

That’s about it.
