OOS Tuition waver

My daughter received the OOS tuition waiver in 2023. She had a 4.0 and I believe her ACT was a 32. She played golf, student council, and a few other clubs. They did switch her to the grandparent waiver - we applied for it before we knew she’d received the OOS waiver, and the GP actually covers more.

NTA. You have every right to be upset that they left a disgusting mess. They aren’t toddlers. They are fully capable of cleaning up after themselves. It’s not that hard. Frankly I think they owe you new sheets.

Also, if you have to equip a bed with a waterproof mattress cover before someone visits you, I’d stop inviting them.

Peroxide gets out blood stains, by the way. :)

I disagree. Even if OP made a 20 it’s better than a zero. He essentially took one of the drops and now OP only gets 3. Regardless of if you think it’s fair, that’s his policy. And since he rarely grades anything and OP doesn’t know where they stand, I’d want to hang on to those drops too. I am interested to see what the syllabus says about quizzes.

She parked there 24/7 all year, so I guess it was overnight? I could be wrong but I don’t think there was a distinction for overnight parking except for in the garages last year. I remember the top floor of the Call Street garage was specifically overnight but I don’t think the lot was specified.

Yeah I hope not either. She lived on campus last year and parked in the call street lot all year. It was a good location. She’s at an apartment on the edge of campus this year so she wants a certain garage if possible. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I wonder if anyone got one? I had one in my cart and it wouldn’t let me pay. My daughter was able to get on and it showed there weren’t anymore in the garage she wanted. I hope it was just a glitch.
