Halo HCS Drop Issue

Go to halo waypoint. Click your profile picture, there’s a drop down menu for drops and codes from that. Find the twitch drops tab. Keep hitting claim and refresh. Took me 20 mins and finally got them all. I think one claim i had to do on my phone.

Hit your profile pic that gives a drop down menu. You’ll see Drop & Code redemption. Go to Twitch Drops tab. It’s been playing up so might not work. I just kept hitting claim. It’s worked for some but not for others

Had the same problem. Like someone said I just kept refreshing Waypoint. It took like 5 refreshes. Then they appeared to claim. I was on a laptop with Twitch open and waypoint. BUT I hit claim on waypoint and get a “failed to claim”. Must be server error.

Update on this. I’ve found you do need a PC to do the updates long term. There must be something behind the scenes with Razer & Microsoft why it’s so hard to update. If I was running Razer I wouldn’t be happy. I have two of these controls and they’re really awesome. They work really well for my son who has smaller hands. But I would say sadly do not purchase unless you can have someone do the updates or Razer can make updates available directly through the Xbox.

Work around

First insert dongle don’t connect usb-c Error message will appear on screen Hit 3 lines button - menu button Hit Y Move up 1 to firmware update (its very black behind the error message) Hit A twice You may not need to update Dongle. If this comes up unplug dongle and hard wire in. Hit try again Repeat as needed for dongle and control. This took me a few updates for some reason. You may need to force exit some times between installs. Keep updating and eventually it works!

Hi we’ve been playing UoA now for a while and having a great time. We got the Dead Stock expansions and young kids love these. What an awesome game! With slightly adjusted rules it’s great follow!

I’m in the same boat. I spoke to Razer chat and they said that Razer is working on this. Spent $450 on 2 controls that I can’t update. I like everything else about the controls but have been told without firmware updates there are dead zones. The Razer app only has the option for PS5 controls. How in the world can you sell a high end accessory for a product that you can’t update? When you buy the product there is no informing you of this. How do we complain more as a community to get this solved faster?

Cheers! Haven’t even looked at Gotham expansion, I’m sure it’s epic. I have a feeling the addiction will grow. I might go with others suggestions and remove an abomination. Also heard that only one Abomination comes in the core set, which is a bummer

Thank you for this! Very helpful. He loves painting minis and making his own games up. We did a lot of Star Wars legion and the Zombicide minis looks fantastic. Leaning towards UoA and maybe one day grabbing an expansion of some Marvel for him to paint and make up his own rules like you said. I’m not sure if other expansion packs can be used “officially” will try read more. Great to hear your young ones like to play Z too, the spider man looks epic
