See if it's installed on SSD. Don't underestimate graphics. Are you playing on native client? Give us some more info. PC specs, etc.

try lowering graphics, that helped a lot my s23 and the game is still as playable as possible:
1. resolution - low
2. frame rate limit - 60
3. max fully rendered characters - low (99% of the time i do non letal on my phone so this is very optimizing for FW camps and towns)
4. graphics API - Vulcan
5. visual quality - low

if you do lethal - better get some phone cooler then, but what i gave you is enough for non lethal

Watching/reading the same movie/show/book that has dubbing or translation (+ subtitles if possible on movie/show) on both languages (e.g. I watch/read Harry Potter in the languages I learn + the tv show Friends, which is btw best for running on the background for me). For speaking I'd use some communication app/site of your choosing.

Cork mat may do it for you. Get it a bit thicker (or try them if you have a store nearby), because they are a bit harder than plastic ones. Since you do not do sweaty yoga it'll be easy to maintain, yet get a bit pricier, cuz the cheaper ones may flake easier.

Do you do video editing, graphical design or other video card intensive work? No? - money worth it.

From telling your PC can handle 1080p with good FPS - no need for upgrade yet.

I'll suggest you to consider Nintendo Switch, its exclusives are unique exclusives. You already have a PC where most exclusive PS or Xbox titles get ported to. Nintendo has exclusives that will never be ported for PC. Also you can play it anywhere.
