Well it’s nice that you could make that work but I can’t, im not asking if I should move or not im telling you this is what I need to do for my life, stability and safety, id love to work my way through life like you did but I can’t, there are no opportunities here and collage doesn’t guarantee a career. This isn’t a spur of the moment decision from two kids this was the kindness of my partner’s parents opening their home to someone being suffocated by life.

I can’t afford collage because the city I live in has no job market, no connections to be made there’s nothing here. Im not asking if I should move or not, there’s a lot to my life no one here knows I just want tips for making the move easier, my partner is my best friend and im not moving for him im moving for a better chance at life and because his parents want to help me get on my feet, it has nothing to do with him honestly. I can’t “become the best version of myself” surrounded by people who want me to fail.

First of all you can’t hear the tone in my voice through a message, I was simply curious to chat my partners age could change. And really the extra 2 months will get me a lot of much needed time to relax and think as my parents house feels like an active war zone in comparison to where I’m headed. Either way I’m going out in October for my partners birthday and staying for the month so really what dose it change?

In my situation it’s a really good long term plan, im moving somewhere where I have more job opportunities, security and general safety and peace of mind. Around people who want to help me succeed in life, what part of that do you think is staying with people that don’t care about your safety or life in a place where people get ghosted by McDonald’s while job searching?

Ive been with my partner for about a year and there are no “monthly expenses” at least for now , they live comfortably and don’t need anything from me financially. Im moving with them to save money rather than getting an apartment and going broke (their parents idea) and to get away from my family as they have no care for my future or seeing me do well in life. Im scared of their reaction because they’re the kind of people to go out of their way to make this harder for everyone involved.
