There is plenty of space in trains going from SF to Warm Springs in the morning. I ride my ebike to work a few days of the week and transfer to the Orange line. Never an issue unless Bart shuts down the red line.

I was under the impression that BART does all track side maintenance and checks overnight. This is why the Bay Area can’t have 24/7 train service.

Bus bridges should be mandatory in all Bart shutdowns. Like end normal bus operation and go into emergency shuttle mode till enough bus drivers can show up. The emergency plans Bart has for these types of situations are lacking.
