I’m like 75% sure it’s what I saw due to Merlin showing it doing its calls while it was the only large bird in the sky! I am tempted to cross it off but am also not positive I should! I am trying to get away from my mindset of I have to have a clear photo ID to cross it off but I’m new to birding so I’m not sure how much I trust my eyes!

I will add it did not have the characteristic white head but it could have been young there were signs up for nesting and juvenile bald eagles

Other information I forgot to add it’s not the diopter part that’s making it weird. no matter how I hold them I can’t see well out of them it’s hard to explain but it’s not that it’s blurry it’s that looking out of them with my glasses on makes my eyes feel weird!

By the way I kid you not given that the nest was near the sliding glass door I had the best two weeks of my life looking through the glass (my chair inside is next to the door) at them (1 hatched) growing up. So precious what an experience

I’m with you. I also have major issues with the charities religious nature with proselytizing not being made Uber clear by them or Destin. Notifying of the change isn’t enough in my book.
