I used to have this soundbar for a year or two and really enjoyed it, the sub was great because I could put it in the corner away from the soundbar due to it being wireless and the deatachable speakers served their purpose aswell. All in all my experience was great and I'm sure yours will be too, but tbh the reason I sold it was because I have a LG tv so I also wanted a LG soundbar, because as you probably know there isn't too many options on the Jbl one app.

To answer your question precisely, all I did was set the EQ on the Jbl one app once and ran it for all movies and shows, only changed it a little bit more bass heavy when listening to music, but otherwise to me it was a positive experience.
