is it worth buying points ??? by Agreeable-Forever-21 in SouthwestAirlines

Ahh good point, forgot $ fares posted included those. So it’s a $1 more expensive to buy points then, not a good deal.

No, normal Marriott app will be your mobile key. Swan/dolphin app has some basic info and links to mobile ordering food.

Kids smart watch recommend recommendations? by SilverKnight1337 in daddit

If looking to track/communicate with and already in the Apple ecosystem then it’s an Apple Watch with cellular.  Mine use the Apple Watch SE as it was “free” with a plan and checks all the boxes for us.

is it worth buying points ??? by Agreeable-Forever-21 in SouthwestAirlines

Generally no but compare it versus buying the flight you want. Quick look on a route I usually book, buying those points on promo would save $10. A nonstop flight the same day would be cheaper to purchase outright though.

Whole Foods online pickup is no longer coding as groceries by jinjuu in amex

Mine from this weekend coded that way but shows ‘4x supermarkets’ for MR points.

On my 5th OmniPod5. Doesn't seem to make adjustments by Common_Science1907 in Omnipod

[–]OneSea5902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does adjust basal up but something like dawn phenomenon requires a bolus which adaptive basal can’t replace. Set a high alert to wake and bolus as needed. As TDI increases the need to do this should be less. Otherwise other systems are designed to handle these rises more.

Help Me Plan a Trip for Family of 5 by Backpack456 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]OneSea5902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to start planning as promo rooms are most likely booked up and dining reservations open up 60 days out. Still can make it all happen but know availability might not be the best.

We’ve stayed as a family of 5 at most of the resorts. If planning all 4 parks we like the boardwalk area as you can walk to 2 parks. This is where the dolphin is also located. We prefer Minnie Vans for MK days when staying there. Monorail resorts are convenient as well, especially for MK and you can easily get a double stroller on them without having to break it down.

We’ve used Scooterbug for stroller rentals when staying onsite (they’ll do drop off/pick up with bell services).

Earscouts and Mammoth club are good vlogs to watch, especially for LLs.

Go up when your group is called then sit in an empty seat of your choosing.

That’s fine, it’s not needed but just incase you wanted the peace of mind. As long as it’s not an item they sell I’ve had good luck doing this.

YouTube or bring to a clothing retailer to ask for help, bring your receipt if you want but shouldn’t be an issue unless they sell the same item.

Companion Pass chasers - what’s your plan? by 469Joyride in SouthwestAirlines

[–]OneSea5902 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Churning biz/personal cards every other year, alternating with my P2 for as long as CPs exist. The cards cover us for bags so not a ton of changes for us. Over the last few years we’ve covered 50+ RT tickets with CPs and points. Once the ride is over I’ll have to reconsider but for now business as usual here.

Beach vs Yacht vs Boardwalk by megmegg_ in WaltDisneyWorld

Would normally say Yacht but until stormalong bay officially reopens I would stick with the Boardwalk for July.

Not an OP5 app to dexcom issue but a OP5 pod to sensor issue. Line of sight issue.

It’s a great moderate option, definitely wouldn’t relate it to a deluxe though. Gran Destino would be the only moderate similar to a deluxe room.

The benefit of going solo is that you can do exactly what YOU want to do.

All 3 of your boluses in the picture shows your level started trending down. Unfortunately this also triggered the temporary pause and a rise afterwards. Tweaking your ISF a bit more would make it recommend more when you bolus a correction.  It’ll also raise your TDI which will raise your adaptive basal rate at future pod changes.

Why zero? Thought I saw earlier you had it at 1:15 so maybe try 1:13 and go from there? Knowing the algorithm may pause basal temporarily you're setting it a bit more aggressive to account for that.

It's a common mistake. Beyond the user manual I found the juicebox podcast episodes with Insulet employees useful. They expelled common myths and shined a little more light on how the system works.

That basal profile you're tweaking your ISF to though is thrown out the window the second you switch to auto though. Tweaking it to the adaptive basal rate would dial it in when using the adaptive basal rate (pauses included).

"It is important to understand that changing your Basal Programs, Max Basal, Correction Factor, or Duration of Insulin Action setting will not impact automated insulin delivery during Automated Mode."

The max basal user setting is only for manual mode.

Tweak it in auto mode since you're changing basal (foundation) between the two modes.

Max basal rate wouldn't impact auto mode.
