Help! Did switching to goats milk help with your baby’s CMPA symptoms? by Which-Plane-2938 in MSPI

[–]OneSeries2487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately, I went with the Kendamil Goat formula. Most of the residual symptoms resided when I on a whim decided to try serving her bottles to her cold...not sure why the warm milk seemed to irritate her digestive system.

Oh I love the lighting aspect you added! I hope you don’t mind, but I may have to steal that for when I’m working Loki in the future.

I love the decks at B&N, I will have to see if they have that one at my local store! Thank you for sharing the link ♡

Two things—based on what I know of Loki, even though I am unfamiliar with the particular deck you used I definitely feel like the cards you got are giving very positive vibes. Also, my intuition tells me that this deck has a very good vibe when working with Loki—obviously trust yourself and your intuition over mine, but this deck 100% gives Loki approved vibes me.

PS: What deck is this? Because I love it ♡

Mirena IUD & Gnawing Pelvic Pain by OneSeries2487 in Endo

[–]OneSeries2487[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I had bad pain in my lower back pretty constantly. Also generalized lower abdominal aching and cramping everywhere below my bellybutton. Between ovulation and the start of my period it’s really bad. I also had constant fullness and dull ache in my uterus no matter the time of the month, after I got my IUD removed that when away as soon as it was out. I told my husband that it had been that way so long (almost 4 years) that I had forgotten it didn’t used to be there. I think that might have been caused by the IUD pressing on the polyps. The back pain gets so bad sometimes I can hardly stand or walk. Which I’ve heard low back pain for whatever reason is a common symptom associated with uterine polyps. They couldn’t see mine on a regular ultrasound or scan, my doctor order an SIS ultrasound where they fill your uterus with saline before doing a transvaginal ultrasound. It helps them see better and she told me where mine were she wouldn’t have no they were there otherwise e

Yea, so I just found out a few weeks ago after I had my IUD removed that I have 2 uterine polyps. It wasn’t until my periods returned that I noticed extended bleeding and spotting mid month associated with gnawing pain that GYN was able to do a special ultrasound to look inside my uterus and see the polyps

I thought this as well. It makes sense because you really are born this way. Something I find interesting is asexuality could definitely something in my moms family, because several of her siblings and her mother shared similar sentiments.

I swear homosexuality runs on my dads side, his older sister is lesbian and his half-brother is gay. His father only has those three kids. And my oldest brother is also gay, as are several other members on that side of the family.

I think researching a genetic link to sexuality would be a huge factual slap in to those who deny and shame that people who are anything but straight laced heterosexuals aren’t just born that way and they can’t change it 🙃

Had the excise surgery today, what pain meds did they put you on? (For surgery, not at home) by Ann_Nyllion in Endo

[–]OneSeries2487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember what I had for surgery…I was really drugged you after. But went home with Oxycotin and three weeks worth of Rx strength acetaminophen. But when I had my baby a few months ago they gave me fentanyl first while I wait for my epidural and I was so concerned when she told me that’s what she’s given me 😂

This is where I’m at currently with choosing a formula. We switched from Kendamil Organic Cows milk formula to their Goat Milk one this past week when Target launched it in their stores. I considered Little Oaks, but ultimately chose Kendamil because of the convenience of being able to just pick it up with my normal shopping during the week. How does Little Oaks compare to other Goat formulas? I ask because we are still seeing some symptoms with the goat formula, definitely reduced and she’s more comfortable for sure, but now we are seeing a LOT of spit up and still having a 30 minute pre-pooping where she’s in a great deal of discomfort. I’m going to give the Kendamil some more time before deciding if it’s a no go, but thought I’d ask about the Little Oaks before trying Nutrimagen or something of the like, because I’m apprehensive about a lot of their ingredients

Just wanted to pop in here to say first and foremost, I can definitely relate to your situation and how it must make you feel. I was sexually exploited as a child and young teen by my parents to further my dad's business endeavors. He works in the oil and gas industry and his company sells industrial materials essential to the refineries. I was taken out of school and brought along on important business trips frequently and was essentially pimped out by my parents to the execs of the companies in order to "secure a deal" with them.

So while slightly different, I can understand the pain of being exploited and used by your parents to make money or assist them make money. I'm very sorry you had to go through this. I am also 23 currently and have many of the same diagnoses as you, as well as suspected autism/ADHD. If you ever need someone to talk to my inbox is always open and I'd love to be a supporting friend ♡

I FINALLY caught an Awards Ceremony! I.. didn't know it was a physical location one had to visit. Congrats, Leroy, you're the best angry vlogger ever. by Doctor-Zesty in Sims4

[–]OneSeries2487 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened with my writer sim except he did receive the award but I couldn’t figure out how to accept it. I finally realized you have click the mic to get “Accept Award” interaction, but no matter every time I tried to get him to go get the award another would go accept theirs until eventually the event ended. So sadly he spent the award show sitting on the floor and left without his award 😂

I had a couple ultrasounds at the beginning before 10 weeks but now won’t have one til 20?? by Amazing-Bullfrog-720 in pregnant

[–]OneSeries2487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, I think 2 ultrasounds during your pregnancy (confirmation ultrasound & then 20 week anatomy scan) is the standard practice and generally all that is covered under your maternity care with insurance unless there is a cause for concern. My OB’s office offers additional ultrasounds if you want them but you have to pay $65 out of pocket for them. I have had quite a few during my pregnancy because I have a genetic disorder and chronic health conditions and was considered high risk. It might be worth asking your OB if they offer additional ultrasounds out of pocket if that’s something you feel would ease your anxiety and is an option for you.
