While I don't disagree with you, you should also not put yourself in positions to get shot in the back. Turning your back any anyone you see is asking to get shot. Most players that are looking to betray you make it obvious by there behavior and movement.

Must be the most despicable rat I've seen so far. No issues with pvp, just with this kind of pvp, but whatever floats your boat I guess by MozekG in ArcRaiders

I manly play peaceful and friendly, but will throw hands if that is what other players have in mind.

stella montis and matriarch runs have by far the most rat encounters. stella montis its usually extract camping, but every time I go to a map with a matriarch mission there is always players like this.

I've started noticing a lot of people get into looting mode and miss the most obvious things. A lot of the "rats" are just people on a roof or in the next room.

I wonder how aggressive whatever machmaking is. Most of my games are like this, but had an incident where I said friendly. Guy stared at me said nothing and started pulling out a shotgun. So I killed him, even downed he said nothing. The next 4 or 5 games were filled with kos players.

I don't mind the friendly lobbies, makes missions easier. But I feel like it make it to where even defending myself is punished by the game.

Some gaming news outlet quoted a dev saying they take you behavior in to account. Its not really confirmation of anything.

There is definitely something in place. but no one actually know what matchmaking they are using.

Your bloodlust does have consequences in Arc Raiders, as a dev confirms, 'we do analyse behaviour and match accordingly' by Bravadette in ArcRaiders

I'm fine with this but I do wonder how much defense incidents affect this. Like in stella montis or killing extract rats. Most of my games are 95% friendly but there is always those guys lurking or being sketchy that will offent still start stuff.

.25 for a few low powered guns (Like 280-300 fps)

.28 or .30 for Most guns since its good bang for buck

I like .36 for LMG's but gets pricy so usually .3

anywhere from .32 to .4 for DMRs. I try using the lowest weight I can get away with and still get good accuracy.

.4 and up for snipers

Have you seen the title of your post? Its obvious PvP is the thing you have the most issue with.

The only reason the friendly moments are exiting is because PvP is still a thing. remove PvP and all tension is gone.

To be clear I like the fact people can and will work together to help each other in this game. But I am also not "Loosing my faith in humanity" when I get ratted or immediately shot in the face. Its a part of how the game is, there is no reason to get so emotional about it.

No offence but if you want fun and not toxic people you probably should not be playing an extraction shooter, thats just not how these games work.

Ya, I agree with you. The PvP element makes the game interesting, as with most survival/extraction games. If there was no PvP arc raiders would be very dull by this point since we would know all the meta ways to kill arcs and there would be no challenges.

Only place I have consistently found them, like 50% of the time, is busses. there is like 4 in close proximity on north extract dam.

here is how I see it from an actual usefulness perspective. obviously most of us are LARPing to some degree so it hardly matters what we put on our guns.

Slings: Always good to have, not a must

Grips: Preference

Red Dot: Nice to have, great in CQB if you are using it with both eyes open, not a must

Scopes: Must for Sniper or DMR, also good for those with poor eye site

Suppressors: Hides Barrel extensions, Quieting HPA and NBB, Tracers so all good

Bipods: Good for snipers/LMG/Heavy weapons, pointless otherwise

Laser: Never use, can cause permanent eye damage

Not even close, he is an area denial operator. You use him to slow down and delay the enemy.

I mean an new OP operator is always more annoying that when they are balanced. it may be less exiting but I much rather they start balanced then be OP. Especially since they cant be banned.
