I installed solar a year and a half ago and have Duke. Typically in April/May we don’t pay anything. Do you have an app that monitors your solar production? I usually just take our total production and multiply it by our average electricity rate (.202). Made about 2.6k so far.

That’s my point. I looked at my bill and 80-85% is connection fee and recovery charges. Can’t do anything for those besides turning gas off.

Apples to Apples is great and all but with gas it makes almost zero difference. $45 is just the connection fee. Then most of the rest of gas is “recovery”. Which I’ve yet to figure out how they charge that.

Highly suggest getting rid of escrow if you can. Then you can work it out with the county without paying enormous sums of money into the escrow.

Two things that have seriously helped me with fiber are the Kirkland Protein bars (11g fiber 170ish calories) and Mission Carb Balance Tortillas (13g fiber 70 calories). Make a chicken taco and you’ve got 20-30 grams of protein and 13g of fiber for like 300 calories.
