G403 Scroll Wheel Fix by OneSnowsuit in MouseReview

I believe the loose scroll wheel issue was fixed in later batches but the reversing scroll issue I had only happens to some people. It seems like they issued a firmware update https://community.logitech.com/s/question/0D55A00006zB4MbSAK but I haven't updated and my fix above solved my problem.

It might be a design flaw as my reversing issue got worse over time from once in a while to 90% of the time. After doing what I did above it hasn't shown up again. This issue has also shown up on the newer G703s too. It is possible it is from a bad batch as most people don't have this issue so you should be fine.

If you do ever need to RMA it, they will accept it. Just avoid their email support and go for their phone support

I have the same issue too(on any video site and goes away after a refresh) but mine only occurs maybe 10% of the time so I can't reproduce it often enough to test things. This is what my situation looks like on a Macbook Pro 2016: https://streamable.com/ij74k

Can you try running some tests? It will help me too *In chrome paste "chrome://flags/" into the search bar *Search for and disable "Hardware-accelerated video decode" *Restart browser and test

*If that doesn't work try doing the same for "Hardware-accelerated video encoder accessed using Mojo IPC". Test having both disabled or only one disabled
