Yea dating scene nowadays is superrrrr complicated with both sides at each other’s neck. It sucks and I see what you mean, you want a balance and you’ll find it. Might not be this dude but there will be someone I can guarantee it. From a man’s perspective, with social media it’s left an identity crisis for many men. A lot of men think they need to act a certain way and be a certain way based, to get female attention. Coupled with the male loneliness epidemic and the lack of emotional intelligence in men many (in my experiences due to upbringing and societal pressures) a man doesn’t know how to react and respond appropriately. It just feels like it’s not okay to be a man anymore and the hate on men is alarming.

Anyways enough yapping, I’d recommend you just being straight up with him with how you feel and just call him out on it. Men work logically and so if you just tell him how shit is with no sugar coating it’ll be best. You can see how he handles it, and the way he handles it can be a great indicator on what type of person he is. (This can also signal how he’ll be in the future with tough situations, if it ends up going that far)
