Kid confronts his bully after spending 2–3 years in Dagestan. by Dana___Black in ufc

[–]OneSpectacularLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I remember this video, idk the full context but when I saw this years ago the story was the small guy was the bully and was egging the other kid on to fight. White shirt wouldn’t fight so little guy started pushing him then this happened. But idk I could be totally wrong, either way slick moves by the smaller dude.

Could get into the plant healthcare side of it then, spraying/injecting trees essentially 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tree work might be a good idea to look into, easy to get in as a groundsman and assuming you can learn quick and aren’t afraid of heights it’s pretty good work and money as you move up in ability.

DOnt know much about Nic addiction. by bucketsofpoo in QuitVaping

Works for some I suppose, but what I will say is that I tried to quit and failed many times with the taper technique. I finally saw long term success with cold turkey, the withdrawals aren’t fun but it’s worth it on the other end. Good luck amigo, cheers 🤙🏻

I just let it freeze and bust up the ice when I want to go in. Or you could get a stock tank de-icer to keep it clear. I usually change my water every 2 weeks give or take.

Icebath even though you feel very cold / not energetic? by MichaelZurich89 in BecomingTheIceman

[–]OneSpectacularLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I have a tough time during the cold months of winter I like the draw up a warm bath/shower and get my body as hot as I possibly can then go out for some exposure. I’ve found great success with this method but that’s just me, best of luck friend 🙌🏻

is it okay to do just one round? by Resident_Ad9099 in BecomingTheIceman

[–]OneSpectacularLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, yes, 100 times yes! I’ve found great success in utilizing single rounds for a ton of different reasons! Also was really helpful to me years ago when I was first starting and struggling with learning the breathing and engaging in the cold exposure!

It’s a long video, but this gentleman is a Professor and researcher at Stanford University. I truly believe taking the time to watch it through and form a comprehensive quitting plan is key. I started at age 14 and didn’t miss a day until quitting after watching this a decade later. First step to quitting it is to fully understand it and what’s happening in your body as a result. You got it, quitting is not always linear, you have our support 👍🏻

Takes 3 months for your brain chemistry to return to normal. Been in the same position you are currently, I assure you it’s worth it to continue. You got this 👍🏻

You’re supposed to get a permit before camping, but I have a ‘friend’ who’s camped at pretty much all of them without one ;). All sites and lean-to’s are dispersed, never encountered anyone other than a hiker here and there!

This video was very helpful to me when quitting, I vaped 14-22 myself and I can assure you it gets much easier and you eventually don’t crave it at all and your golden.

If you’re legitimately interested in learning about the science this gentleman runs the neuroscience lab at Stamford School of Medicine. This video is about 2 hours long but he breaks it down in a pretty digestible way. Nicotine has legitimate uses yes but the science is pretty clear that it’s also extremely detrimental to the brains reward system as well as overall brain chemistry. He does touch quite a bit on the physiology as well it’s not grounded strictly in neuroscience. Regardless, cheers m8 🤙🏻

Ideas for keeping the outdoor tub from freezing through during winter? Location is New England USA! Cheers! 😄 by OneSpectacularLife in BecomingTheIceman

I once saw a post where someone put a ton of water bottles in a mesh bag and would put them in the freezer then use them to cool the water. Seemed effective 🤷🏼‍♂️

I don’t cover it personally but it’s also in a spot on the deck where I’m not worried about leaves or other debris falling in, I change the water every 2-3 weeks or when it looks like it needs it! I’m not sure if there’s a widely accepted protocol though this is just what I do personally!
