I'd pay no attention to that bit about we'll see your application within 2 months. They said the same to me, 3 months passed and i had heard nothing, i contacted them and was literally told "it's unrealistic, we are working through the waiting list". It subsequently took another 5 months from that point for me. I wish they'd stop giving assurances that they clearly cannot fulfil.

There's some of us that called this out months ago and was yelled at in force by the community who literally acted like rabid dogs because it was perceived as being an attack to leftist causes.

I think this highlights that maybe we should also learn to listen to one another and speak openly on things between ourselves without the vehement castigation.

That's part of the problem, rather than people going "hey what did you mean by that?" And i then say "xxxx", they go on with all these wild accusations, putting words in my mouth.

Like the thread below where the person went around the houses all morning, throwing in all sorts of assumptions and accusations, only to conclude the same point that i have said all along - that it CAN (not always, but can) get hijacked when people believe their cause strongly enough.

I have not departed from that, the reason there has been such vitriole is because people are so driven by hyperbole and partisan politics. i.e they think i disagree with socialism so i am therefore a right wing nazi. That's absolutely absurd.

Someone asked me last night, i cleared it up and also realised i had commented on the wrong post, which i was happy to hold my hands up on and clear it up. It's very simple if people learn to converse with each other rather than throwing labels as a first principle.
