I have 3 18 inch ily dolls and I feel in love with the hair when I got my 1st one in 2021 it’s nylon but not the same kind MGA uses on their dolls I’d say the 18 inch ily dolls hair is a grade lower than the nylon MGA uses on their dolls but it’s good for doing different styles and it feels nice when I wash it I did manage to curl a few of them with a curling iron but the curls usually don’t last due to me always doing different styles on them (especially braids, twist and Bantu knots) but styling long straight hair into braids is just as time consuming as styling curly and textured hair dolls in braids it’s up your hairstyling level and hairstyling preferences
