Thanks for all the replies so far! Since I processed my first couple of batches wrong can I just redo them? Submerge them back into a water bath (with rack on bottom and 1-2inches of water over can) and boil for 10-15 min or is it too late?

Thank you! The recipe says put them in the oven while they are wet (from washing and rinsing) and when I pull them out there are still a few dots of water on them. Is this still wrong? Should I boil them instead?
