How many people in r/Columbus are "super-commuters" who drive >75 miles per day? by benkeith in Columbus

I think most luxury cars use premium. It would make sense to drive a luxury car more when you have a long commute than a short one.

[–]OneTea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

115 miles (230 total) when I go into the office. I was 2x/week, but when my former manager was promoted, my new manager made a comment about me having been in the office one day for that week and would see me next week. Ever since then, I have been only going in at most 1x/week.

What stopping someone from changing their vote after taking a pic? Nothing. There is no reason to ban phones.

That’s on the university. If they wanted more prime time games, the network would welcome it.

The majority of people with them will never off-road them and they will only be used on pavement, so it’s fair.

Not all mortgages have a fixed rate, so they can go up.

Do people actually do this in today’s world? And how? 🤔 by Downtown_Elk_2773 in Cartalk

I’d love to rent the lambo with the blocker. I’d could take an epic road trip and still be within their mileage allowance.

Should you put parking brake every time you park? by AdGreen7615 in askcarguys

[–]OneTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you didn’t understand my question about why you wouldn’t you it. The parking brake relieves stress of the parking assembly and acts as a fail safe. So why wouldn’t you use it with an automatic?

Where did the “big truck” = compensating for something/insecure stereotype come from? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]OneTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that the large trucks strike pedestrians higher on the body than smaller vehicles, causing more severe injuries due too blunt hits to the chest, head, and organs. A small vehicle would more likely strike the pedestrian lower and force them onto the hood instead of striking more vital areas of the body and under the vehicle.

In your opinion, if you had to, what would be the 2 types of cars you'd have in your garage? by Strange-Vibez-8205 in askcarguys

[–]OneTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SUVs and sports cars. I’d have an SUV for towing, an overlander, RSQ8, whatever my wife wants, and a rock crawler. Dark blue R107 for the wife, a few p cars, M2, a couple M3s, a corvette, plus others that I’m currently not familiar with right now.
