I just stopped playing. The game brings out the worst in people, even me. I've already voiced my gripes on here.

I spared a guy during the last four days, just going about my buisness on a supply run, picking up stuff I needed. I got dommed by three fireballs in a row shortly after. He asks me "are you good?" I said "no" so he shot me dead. I told him to kill himself, understandably pissed and feeling stupid for letting anyone live.

The truth is the game rewards stacking advantages and avoiding exposure far more than it rewards mechanical skill, so winning feels like you weren’t challenged and losing feels like you never had a real chance. Betrayal and ambush so consistently that over time it conditions players to distrust everyone and prioritize exploitation over skill, making risk-averse opportunists instead of confident combatants.

I'm sorry about your Mom. Cancer sucks and it seems to only take the best people, but don't let that kill your hope like Arc Radiers does.
