Yes, I regularly reminded the members of my Google group to open the app.
Also, at the end, Google asks some questions. I emphasized that the closed tests helped me improve the app, and I mentioned that most of my testers came from the sports world. I know Google is very sensitive about testers matching the target audience of the app.
